kobe2odom8 14
why even play poker. people like this ruin the game of poker, putting in over 20 thousand dollars with 27. I hate how people play so poorly, yet win. I guess "thats poker"

I hate how people play so poorly, yet win. I guess "thats poker"He is one of the best young cash game players on the net. People like him do not ruin the game in the least. He was a 70-30 dog preflop. It isn't like AK has a lock here. But, obviously I'm not arguing in favor of pushing with

I hate how people play so poorly, yet win. I guess "thats poker"Since it's just one hand I'd have to guess that Ozzy knows something about Clay. I mean, c'mon...AKs seems overplayed here IMO. Unless you can actually see Ozzy's cards somehow I like Ozzy's all-in push MUCH MORE than Clay's all-in call.EDIT:Furthermore, when was action a "bad" thing for the game!?! What ruins the game is cheats and nits.
Lavitz 0
Obviously if he steals the pot and shows down 72o everyone hops on the bandwagon and everyone is like OMGBBQWTFZ this guypwnzlolz.I think this hand is hilarious.

What ruins the game is cheats and nits.Um, this hand is really more simple then half the people here are making it out to be. Here:Clay: OMG BUTTON STEAL + AKs= NUTS72o: Well hes obviously on resteal, time to shove and think of metagame if I can show this big ole bluff.Clay: Haha not folding AKs to button steal +4bet with those odds72o: Sweet, I'm not even dominated. Also, AKs is usually not ever overplayed against habitual button stealers at high limits. Apparently my definition of 'ruining the game' as a player of the game, and your definition as someone who must not play much, is clearly different. Cause when someone is shoving 72o over my AK, I get up out of my chair and dance a little jig I'm so excited.I take it this is typical of lakers fans.MarkGo Suns

Unless you can actually see Ozzy's cards somehow I like Ozzy's all-in push MUCH MORE than Clay's all-in call.OMGCA makes the smaller 4-bet because he wants ozzy shoving light thinking he has f.e. when in this case he doesn't. he knows that ozzy's capable of pushing light and wants to give him the opportunity to do so. OMGCA has a positive expectation against ozzy's pushing range there (IT'S NOT CLOSE) so he insta-calls. it didn't work out for him. on we go.

joethepro 0
what i don't understand is why doesn't OMG after being reraised, go all in?after raising to 7 the pot would be 14 and ozzy would have 14 left. giving up on the flop would seem a little weak b/c AK would love to see all 3 streets and any c-bet would commit him. so he is basically committed.but going all in preflop could push off possible pairs that he's only 50/50 with that thought he was button stealing. it also lets him to see all 3 streets against QQ and JJ and TT.OR if he wants to play his AK in position i thought a call would be better cuz he wouldn't be committed.EDIT: i didn't read navybuttons response. that would make sense if he feels strongly about ozzy pushing light. that's some read then. btw what is f.e.?
