CO has been very passive and easily readable. Goal for me is to make money right now and build bankroll, not shooting for wins, which is very amateur but bankroll is biggest concern right now.

I autocall. If you are actually going to fold here in fear of bubbling, you shouldn't have raised PF in the first place. This is almost a perfect flop for you. Secondly, if you fold here, you are only left with ~ 1.7k. I'd easily put you at a 65/35 favourite (probably even higher) against his range here. Having the chance to move up to 4k and secure yourself a good shot at winning this thing is more than worth the risk of bubbling here, especially since you're fairly short here as well, and will be in bad shape if the shorty doubles up.

Well, in an STT, regardless of your bankroll goals, your immediate goal is actually to make the money, and once you get there, then you should play for first, essentially. This is simply due to the standard payout structure.I would have trouble folding here though, but I can't imagine folding is bad.

i think this is a pretty easy call...what kind of hand that beats TPTK would just open-shove the flop? you are going to have the best hand or be in a coin flip almost every time

He's probably trapping with KK or AA, and the only reason I say that is because I've been getting nailed way too much lately by guys doing exactly that (at $1.20, but still). Though they don't usually open shove like that...Call, he's probably just trying to use his stack to bully you off the pot.

Raise more PF - 450 would be my default bet.Beat him into the pot. You are are way ahead of his range...behind AA, KK QQ, 99, 33 and way of everything else. At worst he would have a flopped set, AA, KK, QQ, heart draw, a poorer Q than yours...Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 122,760 games 0.005 secs 24,552,000 games/secBoard: Qh 9h 2dDead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 59.476% 57.80% 01.67% 70960 2053.00 { AsQs }Hand 1: 40.524% 38.85% 01.67% 47694 2053.00 { 99+, 33-22, AhKh, AhQh, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah8h, Ah7h, Ah6h, Ah5h, Ah4h, Ah3h, Ah2h, KhQh, KhJh, KhTh, Kh9h, Kh8h, Kh7h, Kh6h, Kh5h, Kh4h, Kh3h, Kh2h, QhJh, QhTh, Qh9h, Qh8h, Qh7h, Qh6h, Qh5h, Qh4h, Qh3h, Qh2h, JhTh, Jh9h, Jh8h, Jh7h, Jh6h, Jh5h, Jh4h, Jh3h, Jh2h, Th9h, Th8h, Th7h, Th6h, Th5h, Th4h, Th3h, Th2h, 9h8h, 9h7h, 9h6h, 9h5h, 9h4h, 9h3h, 9h2h, 8h7h, 8h6h, 8h5h, 8h4h, 8h3h, 8h2h, 7h6h, 7h5h, 7h4h, 7h3h, 7h2h, 6h5h, 6h4h, 6h3h, 6h2h, 5h4h, 5h3h, 5h2h, 4h3h, 4h2h, 3h2h, AQo+, KQo, Q9o+ }

I think that range includes a lot of hands that realistically wouldn't have called preflop. Unless he's really an ultra loose player.

You might fold if you are so set on making the money, but I think you'd have to call, and could possibly make a nice final table run with this pot. There is a good chance you are beat however, as previously stated KK or AA wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility.

Perhaps I mis-worded my intro...I tried to say that with Villain's worst range (i.e. from Hero's prespective best case) he was a 3:2 underdog. Any range better than that he was an even bigger underdog, and should clearly fold.

If I'm the guy with $9k on the bubble I'd be calling everything and leaning on stacks like yours. A flop like this is perfect bluff at because its the bubble. Unless you hit the Q you're not calling. I think he's full of it and I'd call in a second.If I was in his position I'd be doing the same thing he did, leaning on stacks close to the bubble

Hey, what's so funny? I'm starting to lose count of the number of times players limp in or flat call with QQ-AA PF in any position. At $1.20, but still...

I'm just messin at how you always guess the worst scenario. Odds on it being AA/KK now I've said this are about evens.
