Don't let him check it down. Put in a reasonable bet you think he will payoff here. Though you lose value from a busted flush draw that might bluff, you get value from a 9 or 10. Bet around 7-9.

If I play it that way, I probably put in a modest raise on the turn; now, this loses value if villain has a mediumish pocket pair or nothing and decides to fold, but we may not make any more money of those type of hands anyways. If villain has hearts or clubs or another kind of draw, this way we get called while he is still drawing, and if he has a six, then we get more money in before a possible 3-flush river kills our action. Big hands are all about getting money in that pot.

and if he has a six,
If he has a six everyone gets their money back cause that deck is busted!I like your flop bet, looks like a draw or c/bet from AK. No-one expects quads anyway and if they did they'd expect a check.Your play on the turn definately looks like a draw now, so a check on the river could induce a bet from a weak pp, 9 or 10 and a c/r could seem like a busted draw. Especially if you've been aggresive with your draws throughout and he has been tight. It's hard to exctract the maximum with quads on a board that doesn't complete any draws. I stab in around 2/3 of the pot to see if he'll pay it off with a pair, who knows maybe you get lucky and he has TT in the hole and jams it!nhs

You need to try getting more money in on turn.As played, you're basically playing to win a small/medium sized pot when you should trying to be getting all-in here at some point. Also, raising 1/3 of your hands is eventually going to catch up with you. That's like beyond LAG.

i like the flop bet.the check turn kinda works, however unless he has a good piece, if u lead the river it might send warning signals off that u filled up with the 9 or something.in this situation after checking the turn, you can either value bet about 7 on the river and hope he has a little something, or try and get a big bet from him by checking.

so if hero decides to lead the turn how much should hero bet?

probably similar to what villainbet about 3 or so.I really dont know what i like anymore. If villain is aggro enough to try and steal this pot on the river, i'd def check it to him. otherwise, hope he has a piece of the 9 or 10 and will call any value bet u make

check calling on the turn is where you made your mistake, you should be leading or check raising, check calling leaves you in a silly spot.Donk betting the river looks like a monster to me...
