BobVersion1 0
Does anyone know why pokerstars dropped him? He's no longer in the search option for the pros. He was the only one that really played at lower levels which I thought was cool.

rogerwilco 0
He wrote about this in his blog. He's a cool guy, I don't get why Pokerstars can't afford a couple buy-ins a year to keep him, but whatever...

Mercury69 3
Wil seems like a really cool guy. Although I was never a fan of Wesley Crusher (wtf kind of a name is "Crusher"?), I thought he did a fine job. Then I found out he's into poker and he also was writing a Game column (Games of our Lives) for The Onion and it was an entertaining read. All the best, Wil! Just tell me one thing: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SECOND "L" IN YOUR NAME?!?!j/k
cdipierr 0
Wil's a nice guy and it was fun to play with him on Stars at the low limits. I had a chance to meet him at last year's WSOP and that was pretty neat. He did a real nice blog for Stars last year and it's a shame they decided to drop him. I do think DN and DN's EPT swing has a lot to do with where Stars is trying to fund things now though.
gmanshade 0
i'm surprised no one has said this, but seriously it is amazing that pokerstars employed will wheaton for two years. imo, he's not an interesting person and although he may be a decent player for a celebrity, he is not in any way a great player. at least jennifer tilly has huge tits, slutty personality, and lesbian film scenes. That's why he rocks and I found him very interesting (I want to get into scriptwriting which he does as well.)

gmanshade 0
i don't see how anyone could be offended at what i said. i find him boring and have no interest in following him, if you do that's fine and we have different interests. i would rather if brandi hawbecker represented pstars, but that's just me. btw, in my understanding the purpose of the forum is to express opinions and respond to others. in my opinion, i was honestly surprised pstars hired will wheaton b/c i do not see his appeal.
