I can't believe none of you ever heard of a Mexican Bankroll!!!!! Hundo on each end, all ones in the middle. Doyle wrote about it in one of his columns, but I heard the term growing up.

Ummm no so much given the Federal Paperwork you need to complete for a cash transaction over $8 Grand.
I'm not sure what you're saying. But anytime you cash big you have to fill out IRS paperwork. If you mean the paperwork required to deposit over $10K in cash, yeah. But that doesn't mean the casino won't give you the cash.Anytime you cash, for any amount, they ask you how you want it: Cash, Check, or Chips? And even if you win the ME for $12M, you can still get it in cash if you want to.Mark

I would imagine back in the day, way back in the day, Doyle used to do this the other way around... make it look like you got less money on you - less likely to get robbed.

So as the highest "common" chip in most Vegas Casinos is a 5k chip at a $8,250,000 payout, you would receive 1650 5k chips. Imagine the look on the faces of the roulette guy and pit boss when you dropped 16 1/2 racks of 5k chips on the table.

My wife said she had a dream the other night that I won the ME. We took the cash upstairs and got naked on it.

Saw a drunk guy at the blackjack tables on the isle at Bellagio with $500K in front of him. He'd lose 100K at a time and then give 4 brown chips and he'd get change. So sick to see it in person. 3 handed at 10K a piece. Watched him for about an hour and he was still going when I left.

They'd have to rename me "The Typhoon" because I'd "make it rain" in ways Pacman Jones could only dream about...

I am not sure about the WSOP but I have noticed the $1 bills while watching WPT events....The paperwork a bank would file is a CTR = Currency Transaction Report or FinCEN Form 104, formerly Form 4789. It is basically used to tell the IRS the info regarding the over $10k transaction. The Casino would file a Form 103. It is all part of the Bank Secrecy Act crap. :club:

The WSOP brings the money out under armed protection, and keeps shotguns at the ready all the time the money is out of the safe, along with the video survelience and the standard casino security..Different at the WPT.
WPT is different because they are on TOUR (WORLD POKER TOUR)

My friend cashed for 30k in a WPT event in foxwoods, and they just gave him the cash straight up. DIdnt even withold any for tax purposes despite the fact that we're canadian citizens.Im pretty sure that's how they paid out everyone in that tournament (it was a 3k event), but i could be wrong.
