Schedule looks pretty good but I would like to see lots of multi level qualifers like they are starting to offer for sunday million for all wcoop events not just the me. Maybe even a huge satt that gets you into every event.edit: also lose the first 3 levels in the $5200 horse and add more in the mid/late levels. I see there is a jump again this year from 3k/6k to 5k/10k which was a complaint by the pros I was railing last year. 20/40 with 10k in stating chips is rather pointless.

I really like the slow structures that are in these. It seems like a lot of levels added though and may take too long. It's not a bad thing necessarily, but just seems like a long tournament for the internet. How long do they expect these tournaments will last?

I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of events start around 6pm eastern, maybe the Tuesday/Thursday ones? Yes it would run all night but it would give the 9-5ers (read:me) a chance to get in some of the events during the week without having to take a day off.

I wonder how long that 1k Limit event will take. 10k chips with 50/100 blinds.
Well hello there, FCP...As has been noted by the esteemed poster above, the schedule is now posted to the client. You can find the tournaments under the Events/WCOOP/Main Events tab. If you have interest in WCOOP, by all means, check them out and let us know what you think! In each lobby, there is a clickable link to send mail straight to the WCOOP box. Thanks for taking the time! I hope that everyone really enjoys WCOOP 2007!All the best,Bryan S.Tournaments AdministratorPokerStars Poker Room Management Team

I personally see no need for a 10/20 level. Start it out at 15/30, nobody will complain about starting with 100bb if the structure proceeds as is right now.I think levels should be 20 mins for all tourneys under $500, 30 for all $500 and $1k buyins, 45 for the Horse event and Main Event.

Less play on purpose? no tyI love the nl structures. Bravo I like the 15k chips for the $1knl and 20k chips for the $2.5knl.Limit trneys skips a few important jumps late it seems.

I guess I don't see a need to be 150bb deep for a level there, start it out at a somewhat meaningful level.I also don't want to play a $200 tourney that will last for 15 hours.

All serious ps trneys start min. 150bbs deep. If they didn't a lot of people would be pissed. More play in nl is never bad. Deep stacks promote advanced postflop play and more skill. The great structures and longer levels are what set the WCOOPs apart from other tourneys. WPT championship starts 500 bb deep.

They also promote weak-tight play and 20 hour tournaments.

Whats wrong with a longer tournament? Personally, I'd rather play twice as long if it meant the tournament wasn't going to turn into an all in fest an hour in. More play for your money is never bad, especially when you think you have a skill advantage against a decent amount of the field.

This is why I like the structure as is if you take away the 10/20 level. There are enough levels with enough length to them to ensure that this won't turn into an all in fest. Playing 150bb deep for a 1/2 hour is just pointless. It is basically a half-hour of meaningless play. Eliminate that, the tourney basically runs the same but a half-hour shorter.

I don't see anything under the WCOOP sats tab, or in the individual events lobbys. When are sats going to start running for these?

As slated right now, let's assume 2k runners for a $215 event. That would put 6M chips in play. If you assume the tourney ends sometime in the 40k/80k level, this would mean it is a 15 hour tourney. I don't mind the very slow levels for a $500 or over tourney, but for a $200 tourney, 15 hours is a bit excessive. This structure at 20 minute levels will make it far from a pushfest. The tourneys with $500 and over buyins won't get as many people so with the slower levels it will only take around 11-12 hours most likely.

There is a balance though - would you want to play in a tourney where the blinds NEVER went up? What Zimmer seems to be saying is that there is a way to avoid a push-fest without making the tournament insanely long.
