I know this might be a stretch, but has anyone considered ace 7 here? Perhaps he was just trying to make a play and ended flopping a big hand? If you want to include pocket 3's here, I think you also have to include ace 7Oh, and we need results royal!

I sincerely doubt this is ever 33.Very low % of the time will 33 be re-raising an EP raise, in MP...you would much more likely be to call pf w 33 and hope more come along so you can hit a set in a multi-way pot.Much more likely to be AA/AK than 33 here.- Jordan

Now, this isn't by any means a great play, but I've seen this type of play before on a similar board in which BB has KK and says to himself something like "this ******* led into me on that flop, I'll teach him never to lead into the raiser on a board like that" and then AA mucks his AJ...little different this time I suppose...in fact, I hope BB really does have kings.

the question that went around that night was.why wouldnt playerBB raise instead of pushing all in?and then it went, How can anyone call 3k witout the nuts etc etc....This was the largest pot that 2-5Nl has ever seen at that casino.
I'm fairly certain this is a giveaway as to the results. Stop asking lol.

question: Only 1 hand can beat player AA. is that enough to warrant an insta call with these stack sizes?
You can also say that this indicates player AA should have thought about it before calling and got stacked by AAA. Royal, come out and play. We're waiting. You little tease.

Sorry guys.I spent the last 3 days at the casino. Stayed with a friend who lives just down the road. Was up until i lost a big pot last night with 10,10 on a Q,10,Q,5,9 board.and left up 60. :(RESULTS!!!Ok, so playerAA with 7,7,7 is a woman. Is known to be a big 2-5NL donkey who loves to call any bet with anything she considers a good hand, or a good draw. One thing I've learned while playing live a lot is that there are plenty of poker playing regulars who will over bet pots with a all in push when they have the nuts because they dont take into consideration what the other player might have.with AAA on this board, there are a number of ways to play it, and the push seems like its a bet screaming AAA instead of AK or 333. (i eliminate 333 because of the preflop action.)So, anyways.... this guy went all in with a set of aces and she called with a set of 7's. and yes its a massive cooler. But the entire table knew this guy only makes this ridiculous bet with the nuts. but easier said when you're not in the hand.cheers. sorry for the wait

That is a major cooler. After reading all this I think Mr. AA misplayed his hand horribly. Usually people overbet to get a marginal hand to look them up in the hopes the overbet will look suspicious (ie bluff catcher) or that the villian will have a strong 2nd best hand. However, there are only 2 possible hands that can ever call this overbet on this ridiculously dry, rainbow board and even if an ace could, having two of them in your hand makes it that much more unlikely your opponent will have one. So since this is never a bluff and the villian knows it, and there are really only 2 second best hands which can call this, why overbet? If the woman is a donkey then reraise and price her in to get her all in by the river. Why even give her an opportunity to fold her 2nd pair/air/ace rag (which she will be showing up with a lot more then a set)?

Cold deck anyone?
Just pop it in the microwave for 20 seconds and you are *good to go!*
