tskillz187 0
Gotta C-bet the flop there. You don't have much and your draw isn't something to be pumped about try and take this hand down as soon as possible. Betting the turn looks much weaker than betting the flop.

Betting the turn looks much weaker than betting the flop.LOL at me suffering from FPS on first round of the button. Ninety-five percent of the time I C-bet this flop, but decided (stupidly) to switch it up... I (stupidly) wanted him to think I whiffed on AK or AQ. Although this play would work, it's not a great idea unless I flopped a monster... even then, you're usually just limiting the pot.

Ninety-five percent of the time I C-bet this flop, but decided (stupidly) to switch it up...Yeah, oh well. He didn't have two pair did he? Seems like his most likely hands are 7J, AJ, AQ, QK, KJ, small PPs to me.
tskillz187 0
Oooo you edited to add some response. I probably C-bet way less than the average person and I'm still C-betting this hand for the reasons you just listed. You have a piece of this, your hand is probably best, but it's very vulnerable and you want to end it, not give free cards. Hoping that he thinks you missed with AK or AQ is just bad here because you certainly don't want him betting at you, your hand is way too weak. If he was bluffing that river was on of the only cards in the deck that could stop him from taking the pot on the river.
Merby 3
Meh, I'm glad everyone had the same opinions about the hand as I did. I hated my flop check, and facing the river bet, I called. Villian turned over AJ offsuit.

Villain bet on an unconnected card on the turn. I think He'd be even more likely to call our move on the flop. Know when to let go or give me your money.
Hugo de Jong 0
NEVER CHECK !..You had to place a bet on the flop to see how strong your hand was.Once you've checked a card you have to go all in once you start betting. Checking suggest drawing.Your bet on the turn had to be $6.. so he could raise and you´d get a cheap fold. The way you played it suggests a M. Matusow hand after he´s tired. you´ve signaled wekness about two times, and since your opponent doesn´t mind you making a second pair with the 2´s get out of there...The only thing he could have been affraid of was you flopping a set of 2´s. And you´d still had to be affraid of what´s on the board.Thank god my poker isn´t as bad as my english
simo_8ball 0
I don't hate the flop check too much (although I can't think of a reason why). <----- ControversialI prefer betting though.Turn bet seems a little too large. I think ~$8 is a bit better.River is an easy call.
