Michael took $500k from that lady in the new ep and gave the client his $250k back and "some extra" for the kids college fund. He better of taken a hundred thousand at least. I mean, they do a lot of expensive recon and never seem to take the cash. That's the only hole for me, besides him not being a suspect in numerous Miami shootouts. But seriously, I watched 5 eps this weekend and Sam stayed at a South Beach hotel for 5 or so days, scouting Carla, ordering food and Mohitos, he ordered Johnny Walker Blue a couple of times at the bar while working a con, Fiona ordered "your best champagne". They should have shown him taking $150k and passing some out to Sam and Fi and keeping some, just to shore up the plot a tad.I still love the show though.

loving this season, I feel like it's gotten better. The bank ep was a lot of fun. Also, considering I think he kept the art worth millions from the ep a few weeks back (is that true?) I think their recon should be financed for a while.Bruce Campbell makes this show. He's the freaking man.

Ahh, I did forget about the art work, the girl gave him a couple of drawings, but would he sell if off for a quick buck? He had a fat envelope of cash to start this ep. Bruce Campbell is great. I have to look at what else he's done. He seems familiar but I can't place him.

Army of Darkness is probably the best movie he's done, at least that I can think of off the top of my head.I'm trying to remember, the guy at the storage place at the end of this weeks ep...where had mike seen him before?

Listen buddy, you needs to be watching your step in the Burn Notice thread. This show is the shit.I was surprised that he ditched them. For some reason, I figured he'd keep going with them and work from the inside. I guess he took Victor's advice and just gave up worrying about who burned him. I also guess that he'll be a full time good Samaritan next season, which starts in June, which is awesome. Although, I'm sure they'll dig up the extra storyline as well.

Yeah I think the whole "What do you think will happen to you if we remove our protection" thing is going to become too dangerous for Mike (to the point they the organization may actively send former enemies back after Mike). Which will lead to him signing back on to work for them and trying to bring it down from within.

I disagree. I thought the ending showed that it was "the machine" that burned him, that it happens to most good operatives, and that he wanted to do his own thing from now on.I think Season 3 is going to be his former enemies coming after him (and the 5-0, considering he doesn't have fed protection anymore). Not sure what the larger storyline will be, but maybe he hasn't given up looking for the individual that burned him yet?

new season starts Thursday night at 9pm on USA. If you haven't seen this show, watch it. They are running all of the episodes from start to finish before Thursday. It's a very clever show

I read a brief preview of the first episode and it appears as if they might widen the setting a bit and start having some scenes outside of Miami. Could be kinda cool.

The first episode felt a bit rushed, trying to cram too much into too short a time span so they had to skip B to get from A to C in the time allotted, but still pretty good overall.Last night's was excellent. The bit with same toward the end of the job to get the bad guys to go off was great.

Does he end of up breaking Fi's heart and throwing it in the grumpy yet sexy detective's vajayjay?
I sure hope not. Unless they're looking to end the series because Fi would kill him.

I didn't like that ending. I mean, how would it make any sense that management would be anything but grateful? Why would he do anything but leave Michael alone or put him back into action? Also, the whole "put the superbad guy in a remote prison" thing didn't make sense. You just kill the guy, right?Anyway, this was the first season of the show that I've watched and in general I enjoyed it.

Well we really don't have any idea what management is going to do yet, since they left the ending so vague. Theoretically they could just leave Michael alone and thank him still. With that said, they have quite a bit of leverage at this point since even though he saved management, he put himself in a position where he needs management to keep him from serving a long prison sentence. Obviously the "right" thing to do would be to free Michael and leave him alone from now on, but it isn't hard to believe that "management" is not the most stand-up moral human being. Plus on top of everything, they have to keep the show's sense of confusion. The show loses a layer of complexity if Michael just becomes a dude who helps people randomly and isn't trying to figure out all this burn crap on the side. With all that said, I think the show is in decline from the earlier seasons, but still very entertaining to me anyway.

I think I'm going to try to find a way to watch the first few seasons (without having to but the DVDs). I also need to watch the first two seasons of Psych.

I have never seen this show but see the commercial all the time. Then I saw this on SNL and it killed me:http://warmingglow.uproxx.com/2010/02/snl-...-is-burn-notice
I remember watching that and loved it when they showed the commercial as a "hint" to the contestants. That commercial seriously couldn't be any less help in letting you know what the show is about.
