Wsop Event #39 World Championship H.o.r.s.e. $ 50,000

Recommended Posts

Here is how the hand went down. Bruno had an Ace up in middle position, and behind him was my Jack and all baby cards. His raise there is close to automatic considering I'm on the short stack. He raises, and with a completely live J-J-8 I decide to finish the hand quickly and re-raise to 40,000. Comes back to Bruno, and he makes it 60,000 and it's pretty obvious to me he has AA. At this point I have to call the 20,000 more. On fourth street we both catch dead cards. He bets 20,000 and I call. On fifth he catches another dead card and I make JJ883. His hand is AA 34Q. He bets 40,000 I go all in for 49,000. Bricks on sixth street... he catches a 3 on the river. The hand played itself, but it's pretty unlucky to have JJ there and for Bruno to actually have AA in a spot where he would raise blind. I can't believe I'm out and wish there was a rebuy. I hope Barry wins to protect the event's image. If the wrong guy wins it's just bad for poker and when I left there were several donkeys left in the tournament. I watched some of the worst poker I've seen last night. Stephen Wolf cost me a big pot in a situation he had no business in. Amnon made a donkey play against me, and other players made plays that will boggle your mind.
like you said tho as the pot builds people will call because the price is rightAnyway it sounds like you lost some monster stud pots. Was that what did you in Stud?

Jeez, JUST the remaining people? I would expect him to rank all entrants in the 50k HORSE event in order of their overall proficiency in each game as well as HORSE total.

Here is who I would like to see win. My reasoning is simply based on what is best for the event and it's future. Not neccessarily skill. In order:1. Barry Greenstien2. Freddie Deeb3. Dewey Tomko

Always humble in defeat - LOL. And we certainly wouldn't want an unknown to win the tournament as it might "tarnish the event's image" - LOL again.

Daniel Negreanu Eliminated in 21st Place

:D:D:club::):D:D:)

Here's how the hands look: Bruno Fitoussi: Daniel Negreanu: Negreanu has the lead with two pair, jacks and eights, but Fitoussi has an overpair with a pair of aces, and if he pairs any of his cards he'll take the lead. Negreanu receives the on sixth street, and Fitoussi catches the . Negreanu is still in the lead. Negreanu's last card doesn't improve his hand, and Fitoussi glances at his final card before revealing -- the . Fitoussi makes his second pair, and wins the hand with aces and threes. Fan favorite Daniel Negreanu is eliminated in 21st place, and the crowd gives him a hearty round of applause. LOL i was thinking the same thing i was like how the beep is that donk still around
http://www.barrygreenstein.com/player_anal...ityPlayers.htmlBarry seems to think Gabe is among the top 20% of players in the "big" tournaments. So I don't think he's much of a donk. He bubbled the FT last night, which was still good for $131k. THe hand he went out on was pretty sick, don't get to see what he had but this is how it unfolded (I'll blank the hole cards til showdown:Deeb: (X)-(X)-5-6-K-J-(X)Hansen: (X)-(X)-3-J-Q-4-(X)Kaplan: (X)-(X)-J-7-T-Q-(X)Huge pot, which left Hansen with 40k left after it and put Deeb in second with 3.5m. Lots of betting on all streets, when it came to showdown Hansen showed 3-3 and a 4 on seventh, to show threes full, Deeb shows 6-6 with another 6 on seventh, to make Quads. Gabe mucked. Pretty sick hand..Final table chip counts:Seat 1 - Kenny Tran - 2,445,000Seat 2 - David Singer - 1,330,000Seat 3 - Bruno Fitoussi - 895,000Seat 4 - John Hanson - 1,995,000Seat 5 - Freddy Deeb - 3,500,000Seat 6 - Thor Hansen - 40,000Seat 7 - Amnon Filippi - 4,015,000Seat 8 - Barry Greenstein - 750,000Barry pretty short stacked, but him or Deeb to TID for me.Oh, and GG Dn, unlucky, and good luck for the rest of the Series.

Daniel, did you ask Phil Hellmuth to type this up for you ?? Not very classy, my friend. Hope you didn't act like this at the tables.It's not donkeys winning tournments that tarnishes poker's image - it's people acting like this and saying these types of things during tournaments. You are better than this DN.Maybe time to take a few years off and work on your golf game until your head and heart are in the right place (WWJD ?)God Bless.

Here's the thing. Poker is a game that is independent of the stupid little history pros ejaculate over, as well as whoever they perceive to be in the elite poker caste system that DN constantly waxes about. And which most internet pros joke about. The only image DN should worry about is his own. And what an incredibly vain, vain, vain statement to make about the "image" that this event has to project through a certain caste of winners.I hope Amnon Filippi #$%%ing crushes it. [edited lol]
