bdc30 0
Went to Windsor last night for the first time in months to play...Haven't been playing much poker at all, and want to make sure I'm still thinking the right way...Checkup hands more than anything.Hero has $100, fairly new to the table, less than one orbit in, all others in the hand have me well covered. Table is pretty passive preflop, have seen 3 flops go limped 6 ways already since I sat down. The ONLY player I have any real read on is UTG, the guys next to me have been talking about him being either a maniac, or an idiot...He's apparently called an all in, on the river, with nothing more than King high...PreflopHero is CO with 6 T :club:UTG calls, 2 folds, MP calls, MP+1 calls, MP+2 calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.Flop ($16) 9 2 5 :diamond:SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, MP+1 checks, MP+2 checks, Hero checks, Button checks.Turn ($16) 7 :club:SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets $20, MP calls, 2 folds, Hero calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds.River ($116) 8 :diamond:SB checks, UTG goes all in for $77, MP calls, Hero??At a passive table in the cutoff, are we ok with the limp pf?No point in betting the flop, and I'm obviously folding to any action, yes?Cool to call the $20 on the turn now that I have the gutshot straight flush draw??No way I can fold on this river, is there???? dgostate8 0
you should have moved in on the turn if you planned on playing the hand any farther. as played, call the river.
DAces 0
i think he just had a
KoRnholio 2
Fold preflop. As played, I don't mind a turn call. River you have the 2nd nuts behind only JT, what is there to post/think about? I'm assuming one of them hat JT for the turn nut gutshot and hit it. This is why playing hands like T6 go badly. You cannot make a single nut straight with T6, and most of your straights will be one card straights.
bdc30 0
It's not a poorly veiled bad beat post, honestly. Was more thinking about the plays preflop and on the turn. The river is an auto call really.
Acid_Knight 2
Preflop is OK at best. At lower limit tables, you usually are gonna have to showdown the best hand and it's hard to make the best hand with T6 suited. You're probably better than the rest of the table, so with position I don't hate the call.Obviously check the flop since you have nothing.Calling the turn is marginal. I would probably fold since you don't have a lot of chips behind to make your implied odds great.Obviously we are instacalling on the river.
Snamuh 0
Raise your last dollar. You probably have MP crushed and you are ahead of UTG almost always. He could easily have a set or two pair and is just being a LAG-tard.
bdc30 0
you should have moved in on the turn if you planned on playing the hand any farther.I'm curious about your reasoning here. Lagtard UTG is calling for sure if I push, and I have exactly nothing at this point. What good does a push do with so many people still in the pot?
dgostate8 0
sorry, i misread, i was going on the whole passive table thing. missed the mainac thing.

I've played with you a bunch there, I think mostly at Full-Ring (though not recently if i remember correctly).I'm pretty sure I remember hating seeing you at my table, so that's a compliment.
