Miller has been a solid addition. Burrows looks like he has a jump in his step, he was awesome on the PK.Isbister has been invisible, I hope can't see him getting any more playing time over Linden or Raymond.Naslund is being more assertive, and shooting more. If he keeps it up he will get a lot more points than he did last season.

Game night tonight. Haven't been to a game since the 'Nucks killed my Habs and ran Theodore out of town, what was that 2 years ago? Lookng forward to watching Luongo between the pipes I sure hope as my seats are in his end two out of three periods. At least I don't need to worry about my sunglasses as the Flyer's should not be wearing their pylon uniforms on the road, I sure hope.

When you say "the 'Nucks killed my Habs and ran Theodore out of town" I think of the night I was at the Game vs Carolina and Theodore literally got booed out of Montreal, it was his last game he played for Montreal before he got dealt to Colorado. He was pulled after 5 goals before the 3rd. I refuse to boo when I'm at a habs game, sometimes it could be a wake up call to the team playing poorly but to harass our own players is stupid.Booing ex habs on other teams is also lame, but booing theodore was a great move because it made him crack (8 goals), we will probably boo Sourray too, and Briere can bet his ass he will get booed for a long time at the Bell Center. It blows that none of the Canadian teams in the west will be in Montreal this year, when Quebecois superstars like Luongo play in Montreal it's intense. It would also of been fun to see Sourray play at the Bell Center and get deeked out by every Hab.

Canucks lose miserably 4-2 after a good start to the game. Bieksa looked horribbleee
He looked a lot better today, hopefully he has turned the corner. The Canucks mixed an awesome effort with an absolutely ugly effort (30 + minutes with no shot on goal) to pull out a 4-1 win against the Jackets tonight.

The Canucks are outshot 20-7 vs the Carolina Hurricanes. The Canucks took too many penalties in the first resulting in the Sedins and their top fowards not getting much ice-time. If it wasn't for Luongo this game would be 4-0. Our defence has to step it up and shutdown the Staal line. Ryan Kesler is looking pretty good after a good game vs Columbus with 2 goals.Canucks are just getting on a Powerplay and Bieksa is owning the shit out of the Carolina forward.

Random thought for today:Pavel Bure may have been the most exciting player in NHL history.
Agreed. Everytime he touched the puck in his first 3 or 4 seasons you got that tingling feeling in anticipation of what he was gonna do with it. He did some things that we will probally never see at that speed again. I thought after Ovechkins first season he could be that kind of player but he hasnt really taken off like Bure did. There were better all around offensive players but for pure excitement I think Bure's first 3 season was the best I saw in my lifetme of watching hockey. Damn shame he turned into such ******* then had to retire.P.S. I heard a rumour that the reason he wanted out of Vancouver is that Messier made sexual advances towards him. Anyone else hear this or just some weird urban legend?

I would have to day that that rumor is taken as fact with most in Vancouver.

Pavel Bure left because of the media. He had to live 45 mins away from Vancouver just like Alexander Mogilny because the media would follow him every second. If it wasn't for the management screwing him and the media he would of stayed longer. Also minus the knee injuries.
