Luongo has given up 8 fewer goals this year and his Sav% is .003 worse than last year. The difference for the Canucks this year has been not winning those OT and SO games like they did last year. win a few of those and they'd be division winners again.

WOW wow wow. What a poor effort for a team in a must win game. Roli didn't play great, the Canucks have no one that can finish. Not that many great saves or great chances what a waste of the $12.95 for the Pay per View.Oh and I meant to mention WHAT a brutal power play that team has!

I hear alot of people say trade the Sedins. I dissagree strongly with that. There problem is thats there only scoring line. They need a #1 scoring line. I think they have a peice of it in Ryan Kessler but if they could get a 30+ goal with some decent wheels to compliment Kessler that could become a #1 or 1b kind of line. I know they dont grow on trees but they have to do something drastic. Hossa, maybe but I think with so many teams chasing him he will get close to 10 and i wouldnt want to spend that much. Try putting a package together for Kovalchuck. I think with unrestricted FA age getting lower and lower 1st round picks are overated. I wouldnt mind seeing them part with 3 #1's and a couple of players for a deal like that.Bieksa is scheduled to make 4.2 next year :club:

Is it possible to trade one Sedin without the other? Is it in their contract that they play together??Do they go to the bathroom at the same time?If I am a GM how can I be sure I am not getting the Sedin I traded for??

How does this sound? Kesler for captain next year. He is there best forward(imo). He is young. He always gives 100%. He was in tears after the team was eliminated on thursday so he really does care. I cant think of a better candidate.

Nice effort by the Canucks in getting Iggy his 50th and trying to help him get 100pts. They are true professionals in the Canucks clubhouse.
LOL it was pretty funny seeing Iggy play every second shift, have everybody pass the puck to him at every chance, and Tanguay feeling bad for scoring instead of passing.

Nice move by the Flames all coming back out to shake Trevor's hand at the end of the game. I thought they were looking to give him a goal but his hands of stone would not help.

I'm not sure how vocal he is in the dressing room, but I would say he's at least an alternate captain for sure next year. Bieksa is a good captain candidate, Morrison as well if he comes back (I hope he does at a pay cut).Of all the UFAs, I think Morrison may be the only one coming back, depending on his rehab. I would love to get Sean Avery on the team, they that kind of toughness although it comes at a price of his antics. Daymond Langkow would also be a good fit, IMO. That was would sweet if we could get Fabian Brunstrom, he would play well with the Sedins. I would make a run at a RFA, Kevin Lowe styles, for someone like Patrick O'Sullivan or Jeff Carter.

I don't know how well the Linden ovations came off on TV, but on 4 separate occasions before the game was over, the crowd spontaneously started chanting for him. I know the Canucks didn't show up at all, but being there for Linden's last game is probably one of the highlights of my Canuck watching career.

It felt very special to me, also a highlight of my Canuck watching.

I'm hearing rumours that Fabian Brunstrum is gonna be a Canuck. I hope this is true if the buzz about him is correct. Anyone, such as Gruven, have any info on this?
I heard it's a 3-year deal.

Any word on if he will be NHL ready for next year?
Apparently he's already NHL ready. Especially with Vancouver's offensively-challenged lineup.

If he lives up to half his billing, him + the sedins will be lethal.
