7s7c 0
It really looked like they stopped playing after it was 4-1.
MapleLeafpoker 1,462
This is not a knock on the Canucks, but I figured this was as good a place as any to post this.It was announced today that Ohlund is out for the year with bone chips.Last Thursday, they announced he was out for 1-2 weeks min. The team statement was no way he would play for 7 days at least.Saturday night, he played, and he was interviewed on CBC and said it really wasn't a big deal. When the interviewer asked "...bone chips, sounds pretty bad Matty?", Ohlund dismissed it and said it really wasnt serious and it was something he could easily play with.5 days later, chose surgery, obviously more serious then he let on. Good for him to try and tough it out. But I just wish they would just stop interviewing players. All of it is either rehearsed, or just a bunch of lies. *note- i dont have him in a pool, and I had no bet on any game. This is just me sick of the bs behind player interviews, that are just a waste of time. Here in Toronto, the Fan590 (sports radio), the prime time show won't interview players, they said its a waste of time since they never say anything real or true.I don't blame the players, I just think its time to stop giving any credence and wasting time with them. serge 904
you are correct 90% of players interviews are bogus...The problem is if they say anything interesting they get fined or reprimanded...Same with coaches..
WestcoastCanuck 0
This has been one of the most frustrating 5 period stretches I have ever seen. It is like they have never played together before (which is partially true because Vigneault changes the ****ing lines every 5 games).
WestcoastCanuck 0
Way crisper so far tonight. These lines could have some long term potential.Dallas looks as bad as Vancouver did against Phoenix and Anaheim. No idea why Holmqvist is still in net.
WestcoastCanuck 0
Dallas looks better now.
digitalmonkey 929
Brendan Morrison certainly seems to be helping the offense.Markus Naslund is absolutely dreadful on shootouts/penalty shots. He reminds me of Jason Allison lumbering in there. He needs to pick up some speed.
Reelishymn 0
Yeah, he looked so slow on that penalty shot, too easy for Turco to keep up. I watched some Rock Em Sock Em from about 4 years ago and saw a clip of Naslund sniping the top blocker side corner from 35 feet and just thought to myself "What happened to that guy??" Good game last night (aside from the blown lead in the 2nd period) after those 2 bad ones before it. We need to get revenge vs the 'Yotes now...

fleung22 1
(insert Limp Bizkit "rollin, rollin, rollin" link)Wow what a month. This team is farther ahead at this point than I could have hoped. Sedins Naslund always look so deadly. Luongo quickly jumping up in the Hart race.P.S. What happened to Fleung? sorry boyz, been out of the country for the last 3 months. of course they do have internet in the Far East too so I guess my excuse is kind've weak.anyhow, glad my 604ers are still supporting the cause and the thread. I'll be in Vancouver on the 26th of March and was hoping to see a Nucks game but unfortunately looks like they're on the road while I'm in town :(I'll try to come by and visit more.Sooo...is the NorthWest that good or that bad? I don't know what to make of the fact that winning the division and falling out of the play-offs is a matter of winning or losing 2 in a row.

I don't know what to make of the fact that winning the division and falling out of the play-offs is a matter of winning or losing 2 in a row.1) Canucks have had a lot of injuries (especially on D).2) They have been very inconsistent. Just when they go on a losing streak, they pull out some terrific wins. Then they follow that up with some brutal efforts.Since you have been gone, Kesler and Burrows have been their best forwards. I'm not saying that in a "the grinders have been the most consistent forwards because they have done their jobs". I mean they have flat out been our best forwards.

The Northwest has been so wild the whole year with no one getting any traction and going on an extended run. Nonis has sat on his hands the whole year. Kess is great now and will be outstanding in the future. There D has been decimated from the outset and probally have less then 10 games where there original top 4 has played together. Oh yea Vigneault hates Linden for some reason. Hope you get to watch the playoffs.

Derswick 0
Hello hello is there anyone left in here. Listening to the radio in vancouver youd think that the Canucks were eliminated from the playoffs last night. Apparently there are a lot of broken legs this morning at VGH with all the people jumping off the band wagon. five games to go and now need at leeast 3 wins, could be tough especially when you look at Nashville's schedule. Luongos' wife better have that baby soon as his head seems to be in Florida.

WestcoastCanuck 0
Morrison out for the year, Luongo likely out for friday. They have played their best games when completely against the wall this season. Time to see if they have anything left.

WestcoastCanuck 0
It is on Bieksa to quickly find his confidence and his game. If he could be where he was last season, our team would be very solid on the back end.GO CANUCKS!
