Stuples 0
The Hand CryptologicNo Limit Holdem MTTBlinds: $15/$309 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $1530UTG+1: $2175MP1: $1440MP2: $1550MP3: $1195Hero: $1370Button: $1610SB: $1460BB: $2560Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is CO with A A UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $60, MP1 calls, 2 folds, Hero raises to $240, Button calls, 2 folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.Flop: 4 4 2 ($1005, 4 players)UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets $150, Hero ??? My ReadsSince it's very early in the MTT any reads are not that solid but Button seems to be fairly loose passive. My ThoughtsFirst off preflop, if the action had been limp call than my standard raise would of been to 150. With a minraise/limp I should have probably raised closer to 300 since a raise to 240 gives them 2.25:1. But it cant be that much of a bad thing since I do have AA.On the flop reasons for calling instead of raising:MP1 bets despite me being the aggressor preflop he must like his hand. The bored doesnt present anything to be worried about.Calling likely keeps the Button in the hand. qyayqi 11
i'd say a mid pocket pair, he wanted to see a cheap flop. now he wants to bet everyone out before overcards hit. (if his pocket pair was ducks, he flopped a full house & i don't think he'd bet right out.)you can call & re-raise the turn (if he fires again), or raise now to see just how much he likes his overpair. i lean toward re-raising now, if overs come out he might shut down.
