Craigdog 0
I have heard Doyle Brunson mention several times that he needs the money more than people think & got wondering exactly how big the bankroll's are roughly for big name players such as Greenstein, Reese, Brunson, Negreanu, Giang and Forrest. For instance, I heard a rumour that Doyle put $400,000 on hellmuth winning an 11th bracelet this year, which would indicate unimaginable wealth, anyone offer any insight? Jam-Fly 8
Maybe Doyle has a <$5million roll and is just bad at br management.I think Reese would have a pretty big bankroll coz he doesn't play many tournaments which really add to poker players overheads. I would imagine guys like Doyle and Negreanu would have big bankrolls coz they have alot of outside revenue. Greenstein seems like the kind of guy that is pretty comfortable. Forrest bets on sports, craps etc and is supposedly a pretty bad businessman. Not too sure about Chau but he seems to be doing pretty alright.
davezz5 0
I remember DN saying somewhere, maybe his blog, that alot of the high stakes players would more or less be playing with their whole bankroll. They are not as loaded as people think.
Dogpatch 2
I would say Doyle rolls with at least eleventy brazillion...no more no less.I concur. But seriously... it's a hard question to answer, because what do these guys consider their "roll". DN has endorsements so he's got an income. Say he has $500,000 that he calls "poker money". Even if he loses all that, it's not it's like it's all the money in the world to him. ajs510 122
From what I've read, Chip Reese makes most of his money these days from sports betting, he partially owns and operates one of the most successful baseball handicapping operations out there. Must be nice to be able to play $4000/8000 as a hobby, but that's his situation these days. I've heard rumors about other participants in the BG, but I won't propagate them. Maybe they're true, maybe they're not.

touchdown16 0
in an article l read one time in bluff or cardplayer, doyle said he lost over $6,000,000 in one month!!!so he would have to have had close to that to lose right??he said he just had a bad run of cards, and that he eventually made it all back. Sonicpb 0
I know you didn't mention him, but I think Brian "sbruby" Townsend has to have one of the biggest all-poker-related bankrolls. He is up around 2m online from last month and 2m live this month. Plus, I know he has good bankroll management, which would suggest that unlike other big names, he can afford to play at the stakes he is at.
SilentButDeadly3 0
I never really understood people making these threads. No offense. The OP curious about something no one really knows for sure except x player and all the people who post in the thread are going to do is speculate. And the question rarely, if ever, actually gets answered. Maybe speculating is fun, but it seems kinda childish to me.
