I think this is alright if we still have the best hand alot after CO raises us on the turn. Do you have any other examples of CO grossly overplaying his hands like this? Its hard to say what to do when your reads are that hes an aggressive idiot who plays 70% of his hands.

I know that why I posted it. he could easily play TT with the club exactly like this.

IMO, unless CO is a complete maniac, you gave WAY too much action.Your flop 3-bet pretty well anounces that you have either AK, AA, or JJ, yet your opponent caps. I think you have to slow down at this point.Personally, because the board is so scary (not just because it's suited, but because it fits so many playable hands), and because CO is loose and aggressive, I just call down after the flop raise. If CO is on a draw, or betting a worse made hand, then I'm happy to let her bet the hand for me.

The fact that CO could easily have a worse hand only means that you should be hesitant to fold. You should only be raising if you think CO probably has a worse hand than yours.(Also, note that even TT with a club is not far behind you on either the flop (11 outs twice) or the turn (19 outs)).

so you are saying call down after he caps the flop? or the first raise.Also I was trying to raise the BB out of the hand but he kept right on calling.....

Waaaaaay too much action.The flop cap tells me that we are usually behind.When he raises us again on the turn, we must get rid of all assumptions that he is only on a draw.Maniacs will occassionally flop a strong hand.We only have 1 pair.He could easily have us beat.We could be drawing dead.We bet the turn because we thought Villain was semi-bluffing us twice on the flop.Our hope was to gain another bet from Villain when we are ahead.But according to our read, if we check the turn, Villain will likely bluff again anyways.So we gain the 1 bet either way.However if we are actually behind on the flop, and we insist on betting again on the turn, then Villain will be given the chance to collect 2 bets from us with a raise.Which he did.Twice.

This fact means that you have had no chance to obtain a solid, dependable read.And without one, you must not let your play drift too far from standard.And your turn play in this hand was far from standard.You overplayed this one badly, imo.--CM
