Beginner! - Could Someone Explain These Stats To A Noob?

Sorry, about being a noob and asking a dumb question butwhat do the three numbers in the following refer tovillian is 27/24/3.Folks are always refering to these stats and I have tried to figure out what they refer - eventually i figured it would be easier to ask (I don't know what they are so I can't think of anything to search.Sorry again, little bit new - be gentle.Cheers

Those numbers are player stats from softwares such as Poker Office and Poker tracker; VPIP (voluntarily put money in the pot preflop %), PFR (preflop raise%) and Aggression factor. Poker Tracker and Poker Office are tracking softwares that stores all your played hands in a database.

Thx JLocke - That's exactly what I needed.I'll try to gain a bit more insight now when seeing them referred to.While you mention pokertracker (I have heard of it) - and want to try it out? Where's best to get if from?

i also am new to using this software, i have it but dont really look at it much. in the 27/24/3 example, what is lag, lap, or tag for:heads up6 max9 maxmy pokertracker tells me i am a LAP. i dont no whether to be offended or not.

I don't know what it would be for hu or 6max, but at full ring 27/24/3 is lag, I think.The default settings in pokertracker are for full ring, so if you play a lot of 6 max or heads up then the labels might not apply to you.

Please don't be offended with the rating pokertracker gives you.Sidebar: WAAAAAY too many people are worried about playing LAG because it's the "cool" thing to do. /Sidebar.In a game like NLHE, there are exactly 2345709 styles that can result in winning play.

haha im just kidding when i say that about being offended. however, i do want to know what are appropriate stats for 6 max and heads up in NL HE. anyone know?
