He's at the final table for the PL Omaha Rebuy event for like the 12th time in the last 4 years. Is he the best/most consistent Omaha player around?

Yeah he's pretty good.Andy Black went out in 11th, he's come 1st and 2nd in the other two major PLO tournaments this year, that's pretty impressive too imo.

Him and Matusow is the concensus I believe as the best in the game.
I believe that Matusow is considered to be one of the best omaha 8/b players. Not sure how good he is at omaha high.

From what I hear he's better at all the games high, but jail doesn't agree with him.

I was going to post this about RW3 as well. It's pretty amazing that you can set your watch to him making a PLO FT every year. Impressive.

There's no concensus, at all.
benyamine is the best at plo i think
This is why. It's really very subjective. You can't compare winrates from live to online for most players, tournaments to cash games, nor number of hands seen. A lot of 2+2ers will tell you that a lot of live players haven't seen enough hands to have an accurate sample and that, theoretically, they could just have been running well for 5-10 years.Farha's considered by most of the "live players" to be the best PLO (short handed, that is) player in the world. Alaei said he doubts Farha could beat a 5/10 full ring game, but says that in a 100/200 game, 3 handed, he's lethal. Benyamine, Williamson III, Antonius and Flippi are very good. Andy Black is very aggro. Say what you want about the levels of cash games he plays, but Lee Watkinson has to be up there, all though he might be a bit too tight, from the cash games I've railed. Townsend, Durr and others have played a maddening number of hands, with mixed results but, certainly show tons of potential to become top players. Matusow is considered to be a very good LO8 player, but, that's, kinda like being very good at Razz. I like Benyamine's game, a lot, personally.

Mid-level cash PLO he was more of an aggro donator than anything from my experiences with him.Seems like a very good PLO tournament player, considering his bracelet and past final table.
