biggs88 0
What are the stacks?Definitely raise here, this is one of the best flops for 89s.I'm thinking pop it to 90-100.
Stuples 0
What are the stacks?Mine was 1000. Everybody else was 1000 +/-
loxo 0
Raise to 100ish and collect the pot when he folds.EDIT: Tired and I didn't realise it was three handed. I still raise maybe a touch more.
Stuples 0
I thought I was wrong in calling. So I call the flop:Flop: 4 T 7 ($127, 4 players)Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $15, MP2 calls, Button calls, Hero calls.Turn: 6 ($187, 4 players)Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $30, MP2 raises to $120, Button folds, Hero ???I'm certain I should be reraising now, right? If so by how much?
jmbreslin 0
The only threat here is someone possibly connecting with a higher flush on the river, but given how it has played I don't think anyone is on a draw. You're probably up against TPTK and perhaps a set in MP2's case. I'd make a decent-sized reraise here, to about 300. UTG+1 will probably fold but you'll put MP2 on a tough decision.Given the low degree of likelihood that either of them are a real threat, the other option is just to call down the turn bet and try to get all their chips on the river. potatoman 0
Bet the pot, maybe a little more. No sense in giving anyone close to good odds to draw to a flush draw or hit some awful full house on you. Plus with the action in front of you, they may call whatever you bet anyway. I'd bet big and either take down the pot down or add some big money to the pot when I'm ahead. YBravo 0
Yeah, I think you have to raise the turn. If you just flat-call that raise, it pretty much gives your hand away. You might be able to represent a nut-flush draw, but that's the only other hand you would flat-call with. Flat-calling shrinks your range significantly, so I'd go for a raise. Also, raise flop. Then if you get raised you have the chance to put in the big reraise by shoving. I would probably do that in a larger buyin tournament though. /shrugAs played, I don't mind a raise to about 200, but I prefer just calling with 458298356:1 odds.

If so by how much?I would lead the turn and hope for a raise. The c/r would look extremely strong at this point. As played I have no problem with a call again to encourage UTG+1 to call, but MP2's raise is extremely strong. I want to get his money in earlier rather than later, because any 8, 9 or spade can be a scare card, or the board pairing can potentially cause you problems. My preferred line is to raise to about 360 and shovel almost any river.
