Woodbelly 0
I'm still holding out that Jeb Bush runsAre you insane? Please be joking. You may as well call the Bush family royalty if you think that way. Could you imagine if he won how history would see the past 20 years? It would go something like this:BushClintonClintonBushBush BushYeah I see nothing wrong with that..... mtdesmoines 3
I like Ron Paul. There are several major things I disagree with him on, and it's possible I would not like him as a person. But given a choice between someone who is unlikeable but will run a principled government, or someone who is likeable but would promote socialized medicine (no names mentioned, but his initials are Barrack Obama), my choice of who to vote for is easy.QFT. H_Factor73 2
Biden and Romney both believe in massive gov't intervention in the economy. How is that turning the country around? That's "more of the same". And in Iraq, Ron Paul is the only candidate who has consistently held a principled stance against the current quagmire (even before it was politically popular to do so.)OK, first, I'm a Libertarian and I hate the government system as it stands right now. I am in no way backing any of these fools who are running for President. Since there is no one who adequately mirrors my philosophies, I wait to see who will do the least damage and vote for them. Since George Bush I, the democrats have provided the candidates who were least inclined to f things up, but then the whole country had to get stupid and put in George Bush II. Twice no less. BUT I DIGRESS.And anyone who would argue with me that GB II is some sort of excellent president (Balloon Guy - SW), just admit you were wrong. It's OK. How in the world does this guy have a 30% approval rating? Personally I think there is no way for the political system in this country to be fixed. Even if we abolished it and started from scratch some special interest group would f it up in their favor anyway and it would probably worse than it already is. We've got it pretty good as Americans, so you have to take the good with the bad.Second, You are not right about Romney and his desire for a massive gov't intervention in the economy. The plan he took to Mass. was not about a massive gov't intervention. That's what he would bring to the presidency.Third, Biden has consistently held a diplomacy stance against the war in Iraq except when snowed by misinformation by someone who thought it would be cool to go blow something up. Anyway, regardless of who you vote for, nothing is going to change. The Democrats are too afraid of their own shadow and the Republicans are too busy looking out for their own profit margins. It sure would be nice if both parties would stop looking out for their own interests and not be worried about who gets the credit. Then maybe things would start to improve. opie 0
Ron Paul or Rupaul? Couldn't that get confusing?
PillyPill 0
For all you deciding to vote for the Democratic nominee, can you please tell them to not talk about fighting Bush? I am a conservative and will probably vote for a Republican. I watched the Democrats debate last night, and I am starting to see some ways in which the Democrats are almost sabatoging (sp?) their cause. This is an election in which the Democrats should be able to almost walk into the Oval Office. Just understand two things:1. Bush is leaving office, so you don't have to fight him anymore. Start fighting the Republican nominees.2. Gore lost in 2000. Whether you believe it was rigged or not, he conceded and was not sworn in. It is 7 years now, so please get over it. Plus, HE IS NOT RUNNING! He is too busy spreading the message of global warming (which is another debate, since we can't do as much as he is telling us we can do) to run for President. If he ran, all he would run on is GW. He would be smoked on everything else. So for your sake I warn you, if you somehow don't get elected, then you messed up somewhere. snooptoddd 0
Was impressed with his Daily Show appearance last night, but still will need to go a long way to get my vote.Of course I'm a Democrat anyway, which means I wouldn't be able to vote for him unless he won the Republican nomination, and that's probably a pretty long shot as it is. Scanner313 0
Was impressed with his Daily Show appearance last night, but still will need to go a long way to get my vote. What more would he need to do? In this age of the internet, wouldn't it make sense for you to check out his website and find out all about his platform? It would take 15 minutes for you to know almost anything you want about him. Probably enough time to decide if you'd want to support him or not. So what more could HE do to help you decide? And I'm not trying to be a jackass here, I'm just curious as to what you're thinking he needs to do to let you know what he's about. Many others might have the same feelings and I'd (as a Ron Paul supporter) like to know what his campaign might be able to do to feed that need.

HangukMiguk 8
I'm a Libertarian, but I'm also a realist. If there were less realists in the world, then perhaps there would be a shot that a third party candidate might win the presidency.
