Hamby moves all in, and Alcarado says, "I have to call." He does so and tables 10d8d and Hamby shows KhJd. The river is the Jh, Hamby fills up and wins a massive pot. He now has $1,266,000 in chips. PrtyPSux 0 Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 so ****ing sick....so many things went wrong for me at this ft it wasn't even funny....I'm playing tight, 100% card dead, raise and get reraised every hand...raise 56cc from the button and thayer makes it 90k total so I figure I'm going to peel a flop and make a move if I flop a draw or something, instead Daut decides to ship AJ with no fold equity and I have to muck, thayer has TT and the board came 234810 so I would have won a mil in chips FOR sure if daut folds...I keep raising and getting popped, 2 short stacks suck out and dont bust, david levi doesnt play a hand all tourney and sucks out when he finally gets it in bad. I stayed around 350-550 the whole time, when I had 400 a dude that over plays hands raises danny wong decides to reraise and I wake up with AA...I shove they both muck, if danny had just folded, I get a double up for sure. I flopped 1 hand vs Waco with TT on a TQ3 board, and of course he had 99 and just mucked to my c-bet...and then finally the hand I busted I bet the flop planning to check behind on the turn and see the riv for free, but the 2 outs in the deck that would make both of us commit spiked on the turn, and I never just check 15 outers so I didnt and obv he had KJ. I could have checked the turn but thats pretty much giving the pot away and if I hit I'll rarely get payed... Finally I look at the chip counts and I see 3 players under 300k, which means that if I muck my last hand I would have probably ft'ed 3rd in chips...sfg Hope waco and Dwongz get HU.
