ALohs FCPSo i heard a lot about those visa giftcards. So over the weekend i purchased a few (vanilla visa gift cards) and my transaction got declined. I also tryed to use them at a couple of retail stores and also got denied. Stores like Nordstrom Rack and Shell service station. Has anyone gone through the same experience with these. I feel like i cant use them anywhere and it feels more like a bad beat. Any advice to this thread is grately appreciated.thanks ahead, jcashx36x

I bought the Vanilla Visa Gift card today at Wal-Greens and also no luck on PS.I ended up using it at Dominicks and buying an All Access Gift Card...which is what I normally due.No problems using the Vanilla Visa at Dominicks, just select as Credit as transaction

So i'm currently on vacation visiting the mainland. I really thought that visa gift cards were the way to go (obv not). Idk of any dominics here on the mainland, will i have better luck purchasing something online instead?

only bought it the one time today...but using at non-gambling online retailers should be no problem

Does anyone know whats the difference between the visa gift cards that work and the vanilla visa gift cards?

thanks guys for all the helpfull hints, i appreciate it a lot.but i just dont know what to do with these giftcards thats keep getting declined at big names stores.

A few things - have you called the toll free number on the card to verify the card was activated properly when purchased?Also, if you have say a $50 card, and you purchase an item greater than $50, if the cashier just swipes the card without entering "$50.00" the card will come back as declined, over limit.Finally, make sure the card isn't marked "For domestic use only"

Jcash,I'm in Honolulu too and I get the gift cards from Safeway and Times (allaccessgift) if I need to reload my account. They work at both Full Tilt and Pokerstars. For withdrawals I have an ePassporte account with a visa card from them that you can use at most atms.

Pokerstars also has there own gift card, so you may be able to try that...

What store did u get it from and what did you click on in the deposit screen to load your account (on full tilt)? This is for anybody who knows.

I bought them at Wallgreens, worked great.click on Visa, type in the card info and viola!!GL

yep, the PayTRU cards...that's what I've been using and i've had zero problems thus far.

I use the Gift2go visa cards all the time on pokerstars, never had a problem with them working. Walgreens has them in $30, $50, and $100 denominations here in Vegas. Does the Allaccess card work at pokerstars too? Any one know?

yep, the PayTRU cards...that's what I've been using and i've had zero problems thus far.
They say their quota has been filled for number of Paytru cards they will give out, so if we don't already have one, we are out of luck

PayTru is awesomewhen I first signed up for the card when Stars emailed me about it....I was worried because I did a $4500.00 cash out and when I clicked (confirm) it listed the # for the other Visa card I had been using for deposits...Plus I had issues with the 'sign up' because they email you a conformation number and dumb me didn't write it down....So anyway Stars had credited my new PayTru account with the 45 hundo and meanwhile I am on the phone chewing out customer service reps for my other Visa carrier because I couldn't even confirm my new PayTru acct #...lolanyway now that I have the card its awesome I have to say I love the INSTANT transfers. and I mean instant. My Stars account was busto and I was maxxed on my checking account ATM so I message my buddy and say 'hey ship me 5 hundo on Stars'...the transfer gets there and I immed cash out and bam the money was in my Pay Tru account.....I hit the ATM up not even 10 mins later and had money to load up on brewskis and take a weekend trip to Tahoe with.Pay Tru rocks
