VernonME 0
Just wondering which you think makes money and in a quicker time period. SnG's, a full ring cash game, a 6-handed cash game, or a tourney?

gibler321 1
tourneys are deff the biggest "get rich" of poker. although in MTTs the variance is sooo high. but if you get lucky enough, in a $11 tourney, you can win a couple K
freak2304 0
cash game=more consistant winnings if that's what you're good atmtt's=very inconsistant but potentially high winnings if that's what you're good atsit n go's=depends on if you're doing single table or multi table, but i'd say it's usually in between cash and mtt's if that's what you're good atSee a trend?? Roberts2003 0
heres what you do: go to your local store and buy a lottery ticket. scratch and see if you won anything. also, flip a coin 10 times with your friend. both of these are big parts of poker tournaments. if you are successful in these 2 things, then you should play tournaments. because thats what tournaments are. lotteries and coinflips.P.S.i HATE tournaments

Hoop Addict 0
Like everyone above has said - it just depends on what you're good at.For example, everyone says MTTs are high variance but over 4 months (I know I know, small sample blah blah blah) my ROI has remained pretty consistent. My biggest downswing (keep in mind, I play at mid-low stakes. Mostly $20-$50 MTTs with the occasional jab at a $100) has been maybe $500. My ROI is about 125-130% & hasn't been below 100% since March. So for me... MTTs easily.
