gfdsa146 0
I'm playing the $3+R on stars right now, and i'm not too sure of how i should play it. I know everyone here is gonna LAG me to death, so i'm just wondering if i should just push /w any pocket pair preflop. I did with 99 and got like 3 callers (two K-10's and one A-10) and quadrupled up to $6k. Should i keep doing this in the early stages? what about the later stages?
Vandees 0
With 6k you can sit back and wait for monster hands only. even if you don't play another hand til break you'll have $7k after your add on, good with blinds at 75-150 after break.
gfdsa146 0
i don't plan on adding on or rebuying at allI'm up to 7k already - outplayed people while in position, nothin fancy.

(wow a whole 7K at the break huh....thats generally less than average stack and the CL is usually above 50K....but gl playing 'tight' first hour)

fitzinabox 0
its not a bad strat to play tight and just pick off idiots the whole first hour . . . that is the approach i usually take and am most always over 10 k after the first break. there are many different approaches one can take and have success

Vandees 0
Trinity, who cares what the chip leader has 1 hour into the tourney? If you're at $6K like op 10 minutes in, why press the issue? You'll have a comfortable stack to make moves with the next 2 hours, where it actually matters. Plus, he'll be respected more by his table.****Keep in mind I stinkGood luck OP, and Gibler, will be tracking you both.

gfdsa146 0
i find it difficult to imagine a reason not to add-on in this tournament. i think not adding on is a major leak.I really shouldn't be playing this tourney in the first place. my bankroll is only $30 lol. Adding on would not be a wise move in terms of bankroll management. But then again playing wouldn't be either. I'm playing more for the experience of being in a rebuy tourney. I wanted to see if it was gonna be like hubble's freeroll, where everything is all-in. So far its like Hubble's on ritalin. Its not a pushfest, more of an extra loose call-all-in fest
