Play was pretty tight when it got down to the final 3-4 tables. Typical bad play early. I really paid attention to others play and avoided putting myself in marginal situations. I was able to maintain an average to slightly above average stack until the final 2 or 3 tables when play turned very tight. If you concentrate on position play and avoid big pots when you don't have a monster you should be OK.

Pawn shops are definitely -ev... OK to sell scrap gold to, but that's about it.Check and see if your state offers any health related programs. I was listening to local radio this morning and heard that families with less than 36K annual income qualified for certain prescription benefits within the state I live in. Your state may offer something more or less.

Please comment on my call of this middle position all in...My read on MP1 was loose agressive pre-flop... I was just having fun with it.... Tongue in cheek you know...

I was going to see as many cheap flops agains Victor as possible, just looking for a chance to bust him... I wasn't worried about proper pre-flop play..
-
True.... but, there was no raise with the flush draw out there... I convinced myself that I would have raised the turn if I had flopped a set.

Tounge in cheek people.... Pokerstars has been running these freerolls (10 fpp buyin), where if you knock out one of their pro's, you win an entry into there Sunday million guarantee tourney. Well, I had my opportunity, and Victor Ramdin ran his time clock down while saying 'merry xmas' on the following hand.... Keep in mind that my main motivation in this tourney was to bust him regardless of how I finished in the tourney.PokerStars Game #7561364863: Tournament #38656464, 10FPP Hold'em No Limit - Level VII (100/200) - 2006/12/22 - 20:32:23 (ET)Table '38656464 309' 9-max Seat #8 is the button

Try playing only micro limits, or even play money for a while. If you're not having fun, AND losing money, find another less-expensive hobby.Good luck in whatever path you take.

That sounds like a structure that I would expect at a fundraiser event, as it shortens the overall length of the tournament. When blinds double like that, even with re-buys, the tourney is shortened by quite a bit.I've played several low buy-in tournaments recently at a nearby casino, where a $65 buy-in gets you 2500 chips. Blinds start at 25/25, and go up every 20 minutes. Blind levels are 25/25, 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 400/800, 600/1200, 1000/2000, 2000/4000, 4000/8000, etc... These tourneys average from 55 to 80 players, paying the top 10. If there are less than 55 players, on
