    this is the only quality post in this whole thread.. im not a member of 4bb but it makes sense for people who have respect for eachother and want to accomplish things via internet forum to create a forum that does just that. and thats great that you guys have done that. i even registered for 4bb like a week ago but havent been approved yet. however, i dont understand why chgocubs has to complain about it? if you dont like fcp anymore, dont come around anymore. its really that simple..you love 4bb, post on 4bb. I see one of these posts like once a month "omg fcp has gone downhill and sucks now blah blah blah" ..and i am not a long time member of this forum, so i cant speak about how things "used to be"..but i can say that making threads about it does absolutely nothing, except add to the tons of useless shit no one cares to read about on a forum/rant

    I still look at this site everyday. You sure you aren't just being nostalgic and letting your DN affiliations and natural positive attitude blind you here Fluff?I mean when the community stuff like Tehtoe's and silkyjohnsons rail call get like 20 posts combined...And cardcores post calling out PT special which would have normally sprinted to 5 pages gets nothing either, I know things have changed.

    For a poor guy like me, that would be like winning the lottery to be at the feature table and get sponsorship money...all the more reason I thought that it was mightily duechey that Phil Ivey refused to be at the feature table thus costing everyone else that drew his table to miss out on sponsorship money and a chance to be on television.
    I didn't know you can refuse to be at the feature table? Why is this?

    Tehtoe, that is a real **** post. I keep getting ****ed by poker also and you, sir, seem to have lost all understanding of what it is like to struggle with this cocksucking game. Why don't you look back at your successes and get the **** off of people tits when they make a post like that. Smarten the **** up and don't be an arsehole.     This post makes no sense at all.I find it astonishing that you have nearly 10k posts here and act like you just started playing the game yesterday. I mean, how many times do we have to hear over, and over, and over, and over how poker keeps screwing you and how unlucky you continually run? Do you ever use that energy to review hand histories, study the game, plug leaks, anything? Or do we have to hear this week after week after week after week?Do yourself a giant favor and just quit the game. I mean, a bad beat thread that shows how terribly unlucky you are and no one else is? Grow up.
    God you're so full of shit. Every sunday you come in here and basically claim to get runner runner quad'd out of half of the tournaments you play.If any of you ever stopped focusing on how the world is apparently against you and started actually spending that time improving I guarantee you'd see a large leap in your results.

    They didn't have cap space to offer him money this offseason without going over the luxury tax. In separate offseasons they offered him 6yrs/$55mil and 5yrs/$50 mil which he turned down both. Him doing so gave the Bulls the flexibility to make the Salmons/Miller trades and make a run at the 2010 free agents. While I don't think that is the best plan...it's their plan.

    Not a good comparison. Hughes is a slightly above average defender and a horrible shooter. Gordon is a great shooter and a horrible defender
    I think it is questionable how much of an upgrade Artest is over Ariza. Not on talent obviously....but will Ron behave/accept being a role player/etc.One good point made by someone on TV was that now Kobe will NEVER have to guard the other team's best perimeter player. Thats a big plus for LA.If San Antonio or Boston get Rasheed Wallace, they will be just as loaded as the Lakers.
    I'm surprised by how many people here don't share this sentiment. I don't think this is a very good fit but a lot of you think this really loads up the Lakers even more. Interesting.

    I know that there is alot of good players on FCP, but if you had to choose just one, who would it be ?:D Mark "NoSup4u" Schwartz ( I know he's good, but he's also very dreamy in that "American Gladiator" type picture. ):D JC "PrtyPkerSUX" Eldorado ( He is with Poker VT, so he must be very good. Also I would give my whole BR to have a shower with him and all that Fiji water. ):qh Raymond "Troyomac" McClure ( He's my choice BTW :club: He also lives in my province, and I would really love to play him Heads-Up if you know what I mean :ts ):jh Gallo ( Well he has lots of posts, so he must be good.     I'm starting to hate how everytime someone posts something about staking or backing or whatever, and there is always some type of controversy about someone rolling someone, or owing someone money or whatever.Why can't people just be legit and not have issues with other people?I think poker breeds certain negative sides of people generally and it sucks that people can't just be honest and straight up in their dealings with other poker players.I'm drunk kind of./rant

    If you don't like the event, don't play. If you don't think it's good watching, don't watch.If you think it adversely affects the other events and hurts your chances at POY, then don't play the other events, and create you own Series with whatever buyin amounts you deem appopriate.

    Some minor tweaks. I think Bulls should be 3, Portland should be above the Jazz, and the Knicks should be higher because of what they used to mean to the league.
    I agree with all this plus what Bigd said about the Clips. Detroit is also way too low. I think Dallas is actually too high...they were horrendously bad for a dozen or so years straight IIRC. The hawks are a little low. I'd have Cleveland up there with Miami and Orlando too.

    Hey all.Had a fun time overall in Vegas.Quick tournament report, started w/ 4500 chips:-- Took a hit early at 25/50 when I picked up QQ. I raised, one caller, and a limper (very weak player) called. Flop T22 w/ two spades. Limper checks, I c-bet, fold, limper calls. Turn 5 spades, check check. River is a 8 of clubs, and he checks. I think for like 30 seconds and decide there is no way he checks worse there and v-bet 550. He insta gets excited and asks how much I have left, in a "I saw people do this on TV and always wanted to" sort of way, and as I'm counting he shoves all in. I snap fold and he shows a turned boat with wired 5's. Still not sure if it was a good idea to try to v-bet a donk in that spot.-- Few hands later, Decent player raised in MP, I called from BB w/ 33. Flop 3 7 9 rainbow. I donked 200, he makes it 6, I decide if he has an overpair let's get it in now before he goes into pot control mode and ship, and he snap folds. -- Hung around and then just after a break I found myself with under 4k at 100/200. Shiped AK and 88 over 2-3 limpers with no callers, then A4 over a cutoff raise from an active player on the button and he snap folded. All the while the table was getting progressivly tougher with some younger internet kids (YIK going forward) getting moved to my table.-- I pick up AK hearts on the button, 3 limpers, YIK makes it 1100 from cutoff, I ship, he thinks for about 15 seconds and calls w/ AQ off. Flop KJx and I dodge the T on the turn and river and suddenly have like 14K.- Half hour later I'm up over 15k and pick up AA UTG+1. It's now 100/200/25 and I make it 525. Typical donk (TD) behind me flat calls and another TD right behind him makes it 2400, leaving them both with like 4k behind. I think for about a minute deciding whether to flat or shove, I finally shove, first TD tanks and folds, raises calls and shows 99. Flop T7x, turn 8, river 6. Ouch. Would have put me over 20k with that pot but instead I was back to 9k with the blinds going up to 150/300/25. Nothing but standard stuff...internet tournament I forget about it within 5 minutes, stuck with me a little longer being my only WSOP event of the year.EDIT: Forgot this hand. One limper, I make it 700 w/ AsKx. YIK flat calls the 700 from the SB which confuses me, then the limper calls. I am not planning on c-betting most flops because of this flat call. Flop is KT3 all spades, and I decide I have to get $$$ in now so a spade doesn't scare someone off, and if YIK has QQ or JJ with a spade I may get him to come along too, so I c-bet 1650, which he c/r to 5k. Limper folds, I have no clue what this guy has but I'm not folding, so I stick it in and he calls, I'm praying he shows QQ or JJ w/ a spade but instead he tables AK of his own, so I'm freerolling. But I miss and we chop it up.-- Got moved to a new table with a ton of YIK and big stacks everywhere. Actually there was me, 8 good players, and one OK player that would call way too much out of the blinds but wasn't atrocious besides that. I treaded water until dinner reshoving a couple of times, raise/folding a couple of times, and left right where I started with 9k. -- After dinner, went supremely card dead. Restole with A2s from the BB over a button raise which he folded to, and couldn't find any other spots to get money in. With the blinds at 300/600 I found myself with like 7k chips, and busted out when a button raise called my shove from the BB with KQ, and it held up against my two random cards.Thanks again for the support and to DNA for running it all, hope to do it again next year!
