  1. e-dog telling the kid he's rooting for him - guess scotty really got on his nerves, or did they never really get along to begin with?
  2. can i ask why anybody still has money on bodog to begin with? if the trouble they always seem to be in isn't enough reason to stay away, their service sucks too in my experience. what's the draw?
  3. gg guys... 1st and a 3rd, not bad at all.
  4. why do you all you psu people live in MD? PSU senior still in centre country right hurr.
  5. why not force players to leave a table after sitting out any part of a HORSE game? seems simple enough, just no sitting out during cash game HORSE, for obvious reasons. you wish to sit out, you get up from the table. either way, seems matusow could've gone about this in a more private manner, but that wouldn't be mike i guess.
  6. i've been more profitable in SNG's, but that's likely only because i play them more... i can't stand them anymore though, i'm sticking to cash games - there's just as many bad players, and like somebody else said, you can have a chance to win your money back against them whereas in a SNG you cannot. I mean - i think of it this way... if you get put all in as a big favorite in a SNG 5 times, and you win 4 of those 5 times, you are still going to be knocked out. But if you win 4 of 5 all-ins in a cash game, you should be way up still at that point. It's more about the timing of your breaks (go
  7. I'm thinking it seems like less to me because they have shown circuit events before the main WSOP coverage in the past... i dunno, they've also made these all 2 hour shows now in the past few years, where they used to be hour long for a final table, i think... I dunno, something's different, i just can't remember and don't have the energy or real desire to figure out what.
  8. I have no numbers to prove this, but my general feeling is that the poker on TV thing is sort of dying down - i don't see it going away, but they probably expanded a bit too much in the last few years, beyond what was a reasonable amount to still be making good money off of the venture. I'm guessing this is just their way of toning things down, bringing them back to a level they feel more comfortable with. I wouldn't be surprised to see it pulled back even further in the next few years, to where it's just a few weeks of ME coverage and a few weeks of several other tables.
  9. The other thing is this... how many thousands of players have agreed with this waiver, and found it completely fair thus far??? And now because 7 players don't like it... mind you, 7 players that i believe have signed this waiver before in the past with no problem... NOW they realize they have a problem with it, they are taking it to court. But the other thousands of players are saying **** are they? Many of them seem to think it's a pretty damn fair deal. Does that factor in?
  10. I have a few problems with your analogy, actually, after reading over it again. First of all, to compare the WPT to the NHL is pretty silly. The WPT is not some league that players belong to - you don't have a contract with them saying that you'll play FOR the WPT. You choose which events you want to play in and which you don't, but you are not bound to the WPT in anyway unless you play in their single event, and even then, you are not guaranteed some sort of payment from the WPT - they aren't giving you a paycheck, but rather, giving you an opportunity to gamble your money. How that compar
  11. Let's say that the WPT wins this case and they are allowed to have this type of release form... does the rest of the poker world goto using a release form just like this, making every televised tournament a problem for these 7 players and whoever else they think should take their side?? I don't see how the WPT can be held accountable personally - they aren't forcing anybody to play in their tournaments, so they aren't forcing anyone to sign their release. And it's their tournament, so why shouldn't they have their own rules? If you don't like their rules, play another tournament. That's h
  12. How does somebody who's using words like "normative', "aberration"(with one b, two r's by the way), and "tenable".... spell the word "initials" with a U??????????? Thesaurus much douchebag? I always find it funny when people use big book-learned words and misspell them. Anyways - sounds like your argument is going well bud - keep up the good work, troll.
  13. Faulty logic. Beating a field of 100 players is much easier than beating a field of 8700 because you simply aren't playing for as long. Think of how many times you'd be in coinflip situations against a 100 player field, and then multiply that by 87 for this year's ME.
  14. God i just realized - you're absolutely right. Leave already. Why don't you sign up on the greg raymer message board... or doesn't the world champ have one of those since he sold out his likeness to pokerstars?
  15. You're missing the point - you don't just decide to sit down at the 4/8k table one day unless you're incredible loaded or incredibly talented. Which one do you presume Daniel is? I'd say both. I think you're getting pretty hung up on this world champion thing, too. It's not exactly official, chief. But you're just being facetious anyways, so **** off already.
