How do you play KT and JQ in 6 max limit?I tend to fold JQo utg, raise in MP/LP. Call if there are any any limpers before me.JQs I raise in all position, but fold if there's a raise before me. KTo I limp utg, raise MP/LP and call or raise any limpers depending on their play.KTs I raise in all positions, but fold if there's a raise before me.

I'm finding it hard to judge what range of hands to call with from the SB in shorthanded limit. Below are what I've considered marginal call / folds. My VPIP $ from SB is approx 50%. What range of hands should I call with assuming that there has been no pre flop raise and 2 limpers. I understand that it depends how aggressive the BB is and so how likely he is to raise. In the below examples, the BB was v passive and had a pre-flop raise of only about 10%, should I have called more from the SB getting great odds?#1KingJackOff7 posts small blind (0.25)JaysHighway posts big blind (0.50)Dealt t

Call, you have a back door flush draw. Pray for running clubs. Check call the turn and river unimproved; however depending on your read of him you may be able to fold the river, if he's fired at the turn and river and you don't improve.

Really? When the flush comes I don't still expect to be ahead. If neither has a flush (I'd be suprised) then I have to assume one has an ace. If they do, which aces am I beating....A2, A3, A4, A7.

I can't fold the turn if raised with the draw to the nuts (I have A ).

I wouldn't fold the turn. Call down. They may put you on a high pocket pair based on your play so far and so be using the ace as a scare card. Would they have called your flop raise with AK? I think that they could make this play with 10s / Jacks / Queens.

I think that I'd check / call.I'm not sure which hands that you can beat would call, T9,89? I'd check and call a bet. I think that if you check you may even induce a bluff.

I posted some pokertracker stats recently and was told that my aggression rating was through the roof (7.20 on the flop). This makes me think that I have a severe leak in my game, even though I'm having success at $0.5 - $1 (>4BB/100). I think that I'm playing too much of a 'fit or fold' style of poker. I tend to either fold or raise / bet on the flop. I've flicked through some hand histories to find an example of when I should maybe call a bet on the flop when given enticing odds to see what the turn brings. In the example below I have one overcard and a backdoor flush draw and 10:1 pot od

Copied from twoplustwo, not my words:With the ever increasing popularity of 6 max play in these parts comes an increasing number of questions about the proper stats to have for 6 max play. btspider already wrote an excellent full ring stats guide in the FAQ (which answers 90% of all full ring stats posts here, btw), but there isn't one that covers the differences for 6 max play. For my Pooh-Bah post, I figured I'd write a complimentary guide that will hopefully live up to the high standard he set.The problem with stats is that having stats in line with typical values does not necessarily imply

I play at party. I do tend to continuation bet if checked to in position. I play at 6 max tables but tend to look for tables with only 3 or 4 other players. I am almost always playing the fewest hands at the table; but have the image of 'maniac' as I'm always raising when I play. Therefore, I tend to get alot of action on my big hands, even though I play hands that are likley to have them dominated. Im actually tight and fold easily when I don't hit and it's been bet before me. I find that at these lower limits $0.5 - $1, I tend to get paid off when I have a hand so I see no reason simply

Fold the turn.River call is -EV IMO. What was your read of the guy? I put him on A8.

Ive just downloaded the PokerAce Hud feature to accompany Pokertrackerso that I can use the stats ' in game'. However, when I start up Pokertracker and try to auto-import the hand histories by starting the timer it says ' no hand histories have been created / imported since the last import'. This is even though I am playing at that very moment. It is only when I finish playing on partypoker and close it down can I import the hands that I have just played. Can anyone offer me some help? Thanks

I know that the sample size is small but can anyone offer me any advice based on the below stats? What I am most unsure about is what hands to play from the SB. Am I playing too tight / loose SB? Am I playing too weakt to steals? Advice appreciated. I've been playing 6 max $0.5 - $ 1, successfully at Party and would like to move up a limit. I understand that Party doesn't have $1-$2 6 max and so am thinking of moving to another site. Does anyone know the best site for $1-$2 6 max? Im thinking of Bodog, as I've heard that it's quite soft. Also does anyone know where I can get the best rakeback deal / bonus deal at Bodog or any other site for this limit? Basically I want the best place to play $1-$2, six max including all factors such as softness, rakerback etc.Any recommendations?

turn gives me tons of options...or does it

On the flop I wouldn't cap it. On the face of it you may think that you have 14 outs but in reality you may be drawing to only 6 outs (non club A or eight). On the turn, with the flush there I would only call if your'e getting great odds. If there's an approx 50% chance your second nut flush will be good, I'd draw to it if given 8:1 odds (2 x 4:1). So in this hand I'd fold the turn. -
draw heavy flop, i have the heaviest draw

I check. I really think that he has an overpair, giving you 13 outs to win: 9 spades (inc 6 ), other 6, 3 aces (although he may have 2 of them already!). Therefore, you are 2.5: 1 dog to win. If you bet and get called you're getting even money for your bet; therefore it's a poor bet seeing as you're a 2.5 dog. He's not going to fold with the pot this big and so you have zero fold equity. He may even raise, which you'd be forced to call. -
Raise the turn.
-
I think that there's value in raising pre-flop. Because you played the hand passively you never really know where you stand. I don't like the check call on the flop. The hand would have been so much easier had you raised pre-flop and then bet into the flop. River is an easy fold IMO.

In hand no 1 villan had KT and won with a better kicker. In hand no 2 villan had Q T for a busted flush draw.

I think that sometimes I may be missing value bets on the river, I tend to check behind quite often when I'm called all the way to the river and I have semi-strong hands.
