  5. Continuation bets and online poker roomsHey, I have made the move recently to NLHE from online limit and live NLHE playing the .10/.25 tables on Party Poker. One of the standard moves in any live game I’ve ever played or limit game is when I am the pre-flop aggressor to lead out on the flop again if there is no action even though I missed. It usually works great, giving me a good chance to buy the pot right there even though I missed or letting me know where I am at.But online at such low stakes, I have noticed it not working out very well for me. I’m not talking about a continuation bet on a fl
  6. Why only 5 seats instead of 6? How would that affect game play?
  7. D/ling the software right now to see for myself, but I'm just curious. How are the low limit hold em games on FCP?
  8. So I was browsing through the VIP website on Poker Stars today because I just hit Silverstar and I noticed the Supernova level. If you become a Supernova for 3 million FPP you can get a Porsche Cayman S, lol!My question is, how much would you have to pay in rake to get 3mil. FPPs? Anyone know?
  9. Lol, damn. I'm suppose to figure that out in my head in 7 to 15 seconds, lol. Damn time.
  10. Well that depends. If it is a real LAG-tard table, then probably. If it is a passive table and the pot was smaller, probably not. But, I'm probably not folding into such a HUGE pot at this point either. That makes it 15-1 with the overcall.I know, I'm a fish on these river bets. I don't like folding into big pots though, that's just me.
  11. I don't like bet/folding. It's a horrible move IMO when you actually have something that might be good once 'n a while. Not that some one is check raising a hand here that we beat most of the time, but I've seen people check raise me when I was ahead with all kinds of hands.Maybe I'm a fIsh but I'm a sucker to call one more unless I know it is a tight player.I don't like to make it look like people can push me off hands anyways. A loose-looking call may pay off if it makes others think I'm like any other fish and I can't dump my big pocket pairs.
  12. I'm starting to think that 300BB isn't enough to mutli-table 1/2 6-max.
  13. PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is CO with [Kh], [Kc]. 2 folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.Flop: (8 SB) [5s], [6h], [8h] (4 players)SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls.Turn: (5.50 BB) [Qh] (3 players)BB checks, Hero bets, Button folds, BB calls.River: (7.50 BB) [9c] (2 players)BB checks, Hero ?
  14. I'm not here to whine about my bad beats, I'm here to ask what the fuck I should do.
  15. Okay, I've seen bad play but this is rediculous.I built my BR up to 600 on PS, came over to PP to play the 1/2 6-max tables yesterday, and I'm down to $300.If one more fish hits a gut shot against me on the river I'm going to Chuck Norris some ones ass.Today I sat down at four tables, and within TWO, TWO MINUTES, I had to reload on every table because I was down under 12 BB on ALL FOUR TABLES.... All sucks out, I was way ahead PF and on the flop.I don't get it. WTF. When should I drop back down to .50/1 tables? Right now since I'm at 300?
  16. So I came over from Poker Stars to Party Poker to play the 1/2 6-max limit tables. One of the biggest differances I have noticed is that these players are way more fishy.I could get a lot of better hands to fold on PS with aggression and tricky moves but on party poker it seems like no fold em hold em.I couldn't buy a pot to save my life and it is pissing me off to no ends. I used that to my advantage on poker stars to continue to make money even when I wasn't hitting cards.Any one else noticing the same play?
  17. He was all in on the flop.I don't know. I just put text in the converter hit a button then copy and paste.Lol. Unreal.
  18. Oooooooooooooooooooh..Man.. I'm f'n dense some times.
  19. My check/call instead of bet/call?Well as I said before my thinking was WA/WB. I don't want to loose money betting into Aces or trip jacks, nor do I want to scare away QQ, 10, or lower here and let them do the betting for me.
