  1. Oh you only had 200 more, I missed that part. Was tired last night when I read the post, haha. Push away then! Sucker him right into calling. A guy like him is not going to fold for 200 more when he just put 500 in no matter what he's got, he can't lose that 500 haha..

  2. That's called having a guy hitting his one out on the river. It sucks, but if you can continue to put all of your money in the middle when the other player is drawing to one out in the whole deck, you'll do quite fine in the game of poker.Other than raising and betting more after the flop, there is nothing you can do except keep putting your money in.

  3. I don't mind a call here if you really feel you are good, but why push unless you are holding the ace high flush or the straight flush? If he's got **** he's not going to call, but if hes got any piece of the flush he'll probably look you up here depending on how much you raise it up too. Also trying to bluff him here by pushing and repping a nut-flush if you put him on the flush is too risky IMO with a total fish. Not that you would try that, just speculating.Waiting for a better spot isn't a bad idea either, but if you made a read and had a gut-feeling that you were good then you did nothing wrong here.

  4. I know the results are already posted, but this was still my first thought:You just sat down for the night, you don't have any reads or any idea of how he plays so why not just throw it away and wait for a better spot?Reguardless of how many rebuys you have.Spots like these are better to put your money in when you have a gut-feeling that you are holding the best hand, not when you have no idea where you are.He wants this pot so bad, let him have it. I don't know about you but i'm picking a better spot than a "maybe i have the best hand maybe i don't" to put my whole stack in the middle.i like to wait until i'm pretty god damn sure i have the best hand before i call.

  5. What is your table image like? If you're sitting there quiet only playing a few hands and only showing down good hands, when you limp-reraise you are going to scream AA to even the dumbest of players. Even the people who raise every hand and then limp re-raise scream AA.If they are so raise-happy why not open up with a raise, let one of them do the re-raising for you and hopefully isolate himself making it heads up and smooth call him and move in on a favorable flop?I really dislike limp-reraises from EP with aa, once in a while you get lucky and get some one who's already thrown their whole stack in by the time it gets back to you, but not enough to make it a worth-while play in the long run.Stick to limp re-raising from EP with hangs like 10-8o and play them aces straight, and they should pay you off a lot more in the long run.

  6. I am posting this thread because I am looking for help in expanding my understanding of WA situations in LHE 6-max tables.I understand that when you flop a hand that is more than likely WA of the person that is betting into you it is good to let them hang themselves with their own rope by letting them bet into you all the way down. My only concern with that is letting them bet into you all the way down, thus letting them give a chance to suck out on you.I am talking about situations where it is heads up on the flop and you have position. When I know I am WA should I be raising to protect my hands from being out drawn or should I continue to let them bet into me, only raising on the river if I believe my hand is still good?I have been following the latter lately and it seems to be paying off, I just have trouble I guess stomaching situations where some one bet into me all the way down with nothing and went runner runner for a straight, or hit their set on the river, ect. ect. when playing aggressively may have caused them to fold.

Too much, not enough? Should I have just pushed? No reads, first hand on the table. This is $25 NLHE Party table so I'm going broke here every time if he has one the three hands that beats me.

So I know he is a LAG-Donkey.Did I do anything wrong here? Even if he has aces or a set I have the Kh. What if I didn't have the Kh? I'm looking to stack this guy and I know he is LAG calling raises PF with anything.Should I have waited for a better spot?

Pushing if I think I have the best hand? Which I was pretty sure I did. What about my river call? Is it a spew at that point?Lucky **** turns over K3 of hearts.

  11. I'd wait for a read on some one before I 3-bet them PF with A-9.In this particular spot, it is your first hand on the table and unless you already know who you are up against you are just better folding here. You have to catch to win most of the time here.Later on, when you know some one raises from EP with KJo then it is time to 3-bet.I'm surprised to see you doing this honestly, I thought you were passive?Don't know, never seen you play. Just going on what you have said.

  12. Adjust your game. When I am sitting at a table full of tight "good" players whether it is live or online I play looser then Pamela Andersons... Poker Fundamentals 101: Play the opposite of the table. When a table is tight, play loose, when they are loose play tight.Want to get your good hands paid off in a tight limit game? Fire into a made hand once 'n a while with garbage. The good players will see that and mark you as donktastic.Just my two sense. Want to make real money? Play the 6-max. :club:

  13. They are crazy. I had a bad session earlier today, stopped down over $130 at the $25 NLHE tables on party. Sat back down for another session and got the $130 I lost back and then some to actually net a small profit for the day, lmao! That first session was bad omen from the start though. First hand I have 6-4 in the BB no raise flop comes 642 rainbow, I check, MP bets, button raises I check-reraise and the MP goes all in. I call and the MP turns over K7o with no pair, no draw and goes runner runner for a straight, lol. It was amazing.
