FWIW, that is pretty close to how it actually went down, and very few people who applied have not been approved. There is no 4bb/FCP battle. Most of us post in both places. Almost everyone over there has positive feelings about FCP and most of them have said so in this thread. This has just been a little family therapy session. We can all go back to normal when this thread disappears in the morning.

+1To argue who has better forums is pretty lol. it's akin to comparing communities of nationalities to each other and arguing who is the best such as whites > blacks, etc. etc. Doesn't really get you anywhere. It's really just a matter of preference when it comes to forums. I used to love nwp for it's gossipygoodness while fcp and nwp had some big hate fight a few years ago. I read 4bb cuz my friends post there and I read 2p2 because they have some amazing threads about stuff outside of poker.And I love fcp because this thread is funny

I still don't necessarily understand the point. Everybody has MSN or AIM, right? I guess other than a few efforts I made with Zach to improve the strat forums here, there's really never been a time I didn't go to 2+2 to get advice or participate in theory/hand discussions. I mean, more power to everyone.. that's cool and all. But, the thing I kinda always liked about this place is that it *wasn't* as serious and as uptight. To be clear, I'm not saying RDog or anyone else is wrong for leaving but this place has pretty much always been the same, other than the charter membership fiasco. As for the OP, meh.. whatever. Tons of succesful, winning, intelligent posters have left this site over the years. New folks come along and it all seems to work out.

4bb works better as a whole imo just because everyone sort of has a mutual respect for everyone else (except Gallo obv) and people don't get into random arguments over silly things.

Wow, what you playing, 2/4 or 3/6?

2/4 to 5/10all the run bad was at 5/10. I had a 1.5k hand session at 2/4 against 1 villain. it was so sweet. it took me like 1k hands to figure out how to exploit him optimally, and then 500 hands to get from -1400 to +400I'm behind on hands so this was a nice pick me up. If I could dot his for 5 days in a row...oh man i'd be sick

I haven't really played much 2/4 lately but I figured its the weekend so might as well fire some up. Guy bought in for 113 and ran it up to like 1.3k, took me bad beating him and then holding in a 1k pot to beat him. He basically flatted any 2 OOP and hit everything for a while.

are games actually significantly different on the weekend? I dont' really notice
