  1. Cash deposited = $40 11/28/05cash withdrawn =$1,298.00 12/02/05All in less than a week.....Bodog has got to have some of the worst players I have ever seen on the net...Slowly moved up from .25/.5nl to .5/1nl to 1/2nl to 2/4nl and finally 3/6nl...the higher I went up in limits, the worse they got....I sucked out on only 2 people this past week....and caught countless donks chasing their flushes/straights, only to miss and go all in..my best week yet....Now back to reality, as variance is sure to rear its ugly head soon...
  2. funny stuff junior.....

  4. Sitting at arieh's 600nl table on Bodog...anyone know how often he actually sits in?
  5. I found the limit games to be quite soft, but have not yet grown the brass or the bankroll to hit 5/10....highest I've been is 3/6 and have been doing quite well...Let me check it out (5/10) and I'll get back with ya...
  6. Man, Nice win!I can only imagine how much of that I would ingest...
  7. You may be right Royal, but I feel much more at ease and much more confident after switching to limit. I will post an update in 6 days whether I go bust or continue to have a good run. I have not yet wanted to pull whats left of my hair out just yet..Thanks to everyone else for their input.
  8. I Made the move this past week from NL 50/NL 100 to the 2/4 Limit games at Pokerroom and Noble. I had come to terms that I was a absolutely horrible at NL, even though I've had success in a few tourneys in the past. When it came to the cash game, It always seemed like I was a fish out of water and a welcome sight to everyone at the table. Limit, on the other hand, has been very good to me. After 2k hands in the last week, I've made up what I lost in Nl in the last 6 months, which is quite considerable. I'm not sure I'll ever play NL again. Call it variance, call it luck, but I am a chang
  9. Anyone been there? My employer is sending me to the resort island of Wisconsin for business for 3 weeks and I was wondering if anyone has ever played at Potawatomi Casino there...Any info would be greatly appreciated...
  10. I'm not sure I explained myself well in my first post, I wasn't asking if anyone had multi-tabled before, I was asking if my reason for doing so was the same as others...sorry bout that...I should have known better though, I've been a lurker for some time, and realize that 90% of you need to have things spelled out for you... :?
  11. What is this variance you speak of? points per hour while im playing? I have no idea, I usually just check once a day to see where I am at...Ive cleared 600 points in the past 8 or 9 days playing about 2hrs a day..
  12. This has been working very well for me lately at the pokerroom. I've come to realize that when I only play one table, I get restless and antsy, and I usually ending up playing marginal hands and paying people off more so than I would like. I play three tables at a time now, see more hands, clear more bonuses (free entries into tournies at least) and play only +ev starting hands and it has been profitable for me to date. I usually play 2 .25/.25 and one .50/.50 and it has worked out well. Has anyone else tried this as a result of playing just one table and getting bored with it? +1
  13. "I attack you for 20"Absolutely hilarious, sorry newbie here, but that was f'n funny...
  14. Been playing for 2 years, and this is the third time I have ever hit quads. Yesterday was the first day I flopped them. I had been getting bullied by the big stack for almost 30 mins, getting pushed out of almost every pot and barely even saw a flop. I get dealt 99 in BB and call his $20 raise, which was standard for him on 1/1 NL. Flop came 9A9 he bet 40, I called, turn was a 6, he bet $40 more, I raised with the $20 I had left and he calls and shows AQos...he then begins to berate me for calling his raise with "only 9's" I guess he's right, normally I wouldn't call a $20 rais
