  1. I loved the rocky movies as well, but come on.......After number 5 didnt they humiliate themselves enough??I don't want the Rocky series to turn into something to tlhe effect of the childs play series or the Friday the 13th series
sly is a clever man and a master of productionand should of won an oscar for his portrayal of tango in the epic "tango and cash"the rocky series is in safe handsplus, AJ BENZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8EzKvXJh6Mas if this wasnt funny enough, keep a look out for a high stakes poker person.hahahahahahahahahaha and does anyone use nutsbucks?... and if so is there a definitive way to see when the rakeback has gone into your inter account?its annoying the hell out of me that i cant seem to tell when i actually receive it.cos im five tabling so my bankroll is shifting constantly. thanks.
  3. i think the real question here, is would you hit it?and tbph, as poker players, the fact that all these donkeys want to give us there money is marvellous. would you rather the game was incredibly prestigous and elitist.im not sure if i could outplay allen cunningham. but i could play in a tournament he's in and have a good shot at winning it because of all the donk donkdonkdonkdonks, bigtimedo nkeysbigtimedonkeys... DONKDONKDONKDONKS.i do agree though. we're not gonna make, humans i mean.T2 JUDGEMENT DAYasta la vista baby

  4. Okay, fist of all, you have no reason to be depressed. You took a stab and lost a decent portion of your smaller bank roll. No big deal, and it's only 1300 bucks. Secondly, if you did it because you were bored, consider maybe not playing online or diversifying the games you play. When i get bored i play plo at my usual limits. Something else i do when i'm bored is buy into a game way out of my roll for the min. For instance, I usually play 1/2 and 2/4. If i feel like messin around i'll buy into the 5/10 game for 200 bucks or so, and shove preflop with AQ or better. If I go broke I stop, if i double up a few times and have a proper stack, I'll play as I normally do. Although you need to get a little lucky to double up, it creates an automatic stop loss that you're roll can handle, even at a game out of your roll. Just a few ideas to consider.erac
i agree 100%if your gonna take shots, sit short.
  5. how unbelievably thick are you?he's obviously implying that hed like half a million to risk in a h u match with anyone. and if he wa splaying neg. he'd have that sort of cash.the world is doomed because there ar epeople are on this planet that cannot understand this lighthearted reference.DOOMED, T2 STYLE

  6. played all day, 5 tabling and broke even. wasnt too pleased and got into bed and tried to go to sleep. wasnt happening. so i put the computer back on and sat at a few omaha tables.i also sat at a £ . 50 - £ 1. 00 hu nlhe table and pull up 80 quid.a player "sharkfish (deepbluesea) " sits with 100 and loses it to me, then.. he loses another 100.£800 later he's red hot. so i ask if he wants £ 1 £ 2, he goes for it and loses a further £600 to me.it was up and down for a while and i was giving him some action in the form of loose calls, so as not to deter him from continuing.i was waiting for a hand where i had a cinch, and it came up when i had KK and reraised preflop, flop came K66 i bet he called. turn he bet, i called. all went in on river. he had q6.i had been playign since 2am, and its now noon in london. on the £ 1 £ 2 we both have £500 each. he raises, and i reraise pot with AA.he calls. flop is 722 and i lead at it, he raises. i just call cos im genuinely worried and its PL and i would like to keep the pot small, unless ofcourse THE ACE OF CLUBS ROLLS OFF ON THE TURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which it duely did.all went in and he showed Q2.what was so ****ing beautiful about the whole thing was that when i said "nh" or "ul", he replied "shut up".and after he'd lost the first 4 buy ins, he was saying my mother was a toothless whore and that he had killed her and she was rotting away next to him.i love the fact that poker allows you to get the better of these frickin donkeys.cant even spell poker.

  7. You have to gamble in the beginning and there will be alot of maniacs in there with you. When you are up against a bully that's when you have to call, even if you don't have the nuts. Keep calling the bully and you will win eventually, because the bully's and maniacs are always playing too many hands. If you survive the crapshoot in the beginning you could be the chip leader. Play 80% of your hands on average. It's working for me, because all the donks have read the books and are playing to tight out of the gate.
i agree. when you start with 2k, its not that much to limp 50 and see a flop. i play a lot of this sort of tournament. and people generally do play very tight.this doesnt mean you should be raising. when i playe d my first £300 tournament i thought id try and play liek gavin smith and other players who say they raise alot of pots. what i find wa sthat i was making continuation bets that wernt getting through, and b4 i knew half my chips were gone.so in the next tournament i played i just started limping in. becaiuse beginner players have read the books, they wont raise very often. so you can see a very cheap flop most the time. generally theyll check it to you on the flop and you can bet them off it then. or youll hit a flop and you will get paid of by them cos theyre bad players playing second best hands.another point is to push your strong hands, you dont want to be going home cos you limped with aces.when the blinds go up, imo, if your tables quite tight you have to raise EVERY time it gets to you in middle or late without any action before you. and i do mean every time.you miight run into a bunch of hands and go out, but if it works youll prob have a good chance to win the tournament.beginners just wont play back at you without a hand.to summarise, see cheap flops.. try and steal small pots in position when your opponents seem completely disinterested.. if you get chips become hyper aggressive.. try not to turn a hand over ever, unless its a v good one.good luck
I'll tell you what though, if I do win, I'm taking my 30k, cashing it all out in hundreds, take a picture of it and send it to my ex-gf saying, "you could have shared in all this"
    but you're not bitter
  8. In my experience, .....well , that's for another day...
this sort of arbitrary blasphemy is entirely unhelpful to my horse crusade.thanks for the advice hoos and NoFx, thinking of not playing it, i hate fixed limit.might play, **** knows.tight tho if i do.camels arse in a sand storm.and is that the real JJ prodigy registered?
  9. i pretty much suck at hore ,and all the best players on the net seem to be laying this so i think thats + EVin a fixed limit tournament, is there much need for blind stealing and aggression?any hints would be great beacuase i am truly bad at FL
