  1. I will be living out there at this time. How are the cash games during this time? I will be playing 1/2 nl. I understand 1/2 isn't a real tough game, but are the games tougher/easier when the WSOP and other big events are in town?
why will you be living there at this time?i am planning on huslting up a stake and setting the apple this wsop. all the way from london.as the majority of my friends are degenerate gamblers i may well be going on my own.. BUT I AM GOING. and I WILL BE BRINGING HELL WITH ME (poker hell)anybody else doing anything similar?i want 50k to take, jut came second in a 100 on interpoker for 5 dimes which is a goot start.
  2. i see your 2 pints, friend.. and when the going gets tough, its time to bring out the big potatoes.. im centralizing the ashtray!i think youll find, as a tourist, the gutshot (said through gritted teeth) is your best bet.personally i prefer the vic because of the character of the place. if you could pick up a copy of 'The Big Deal' by anthony holden, for the journey.. youll see what i mean.. also the vic has gamblers, where as the gutshot has poker enthusiasts AKA stamp collectorsfocker out

  3. oh im sorry do i have to present it in pretty colours and bold font for you.. pi.s.s. o.f.f ..you read it didnt you
this was very impatient. it would seem you steamed at someone for little to no reasonpeople that steam this fast will not make for a good poker player
  4. It's attitudes like this that got us to where we are. For months we were all saying that the bill would never pass and no one should worry. Now the bill has actually passed and we're still saying, "it won't get worse, just sit back and it'll figure itself out."I think if a protest is going to work for anything ever, it's going to work for online poker. This is an issue that I believe many in government don't understand the public support for. The entire point of a protest is to demonstrate that there are many throughout the country who are devoted enough to an issue to travel far and spend their precious time in the cold shouting about it. I think if many in the government took this issue seriously and understood that it meant so much to so many people, then in the future there may actually be a vote on the issue rather than having the government feel comfortable with simply stapling it to the back of some port bill.
    amen
  5. Online poker is a activity that people, for the most part, do entirely on there own. For some people it is a bit of fun, but for others like me, it can take up a huge amount of your time and also be your sole source of income. The majority of people get jobs, where they work with colleagues and very possibly in teams. To get along at work, they must interact successfully within these teams. And if they want to excell in there jobs they will usually have to excell in these social interactions within the work place. When it comes to online poker, you need none of these skills to be a success. For the most part, you will be a one man team. And it is not necessary to have contact with the outside world whatsoever to be a successful online player. The more you stay in your house and play poker all day, the more you can withdraw from society. The more this happens, I have found, the less skillful you can become in interactions with people. Even everyday interactions. I have found that I am getting increasingly worse at talking to everyday people. And my friends who I played cards with for the last three years, well some of them hardly even leave the house. They play cards all night, and sleep for the majority of the day. This furthers there distance form the 'real world', as they are on a completely different time schedule to the vast majority of people.I used to be a very social person, and I still am to some extent. I go out and party a lot. But I can't help but feel slightly seperated from society. Nearly all my friends work a 9 to 5, and the ones who don't never have any money. I am increasingly realising that online poker can be quite isolated. When it comes to social interactions, because I haven't bothered with them for such a long time, I know find myself being crap at them. And the excuse I often find myself using is "whats the point?" I mean, what does it matter. You have little in common with these people, and for the most part, you are more intelligent than them. But these excuses aren't exactly helping the situation.Another problem is with my parents, I've now moved out my house because of the arguments I've had with my parents, who will not accept poker as an occupation. And neither will women, it seems. I have yet to have a positive reaction from a female when telling them that I play online poker for a living. So i tend to just lie, which always ends up in a web of lies. lol. What are other people's opinion's on this?I have lots of friends, but it just so happens that the ones that play poker just want to play poker the whole time and don't want to go out and party and talk to girls. And the ones that want to party all have jobs and will never talk about poker and have no interest in it. So I end up being somewhere inbetween, which im not too crazy about right now.Does anyone else experience any of this stuff? Anyone care to offer some input and/or advice?

  6. I report probably like 3 guys a week. And I dont play that much. I only report them if they are pissing ME off too. If they are cursing and **** sometimes I dont mind, but if they are yelling at me, then I will definitely report them and use it to get them on tilit. lololoololol
you cannot yell via the internet.and if you are going to criticise people for cursing maybe you shouldnt curse in the very same sentence.someone should revoke youre chat because you are a moron.
  7. Dont rag on Bush is all im saying..he does what he has to do for the country.
the most MORONIC statement i have ever seen on the internet since its existence.and instead of bragging about "bailing us out", maybe you should take a min to consider why it took so long for the US to intervene while adolf was trying to take over the world.
  8. "i trust god speaks through me. without that, i couldnt do my job"this prick has ruined inter poker. no dumb americans any more. no omaha games.no offence.where have you fled to?

  9. so im between houses right now after getting booted out my mum's.no internet, so today i went in an internet cafe and discovered resolution.the tables were really small and i could pull up 6 tables easily. so why not pull up 12 in a type of overlapping pyramid.so im playing on inter 1 2 nlhe and Plo, and click click clicking.after an hour of this i want to watch the england game so i leave, i didnt run good at all and lost all the key pots where i had the best hand.but i had no idea it would cost me $1000. so i had 8k in the tank, now i have 7k. for me thats an unprecedented swing in 1 hour.BASICALLY...what does everyone thinks the ideal amount to multitable?

  10. you have to realise that poker is relatively new in europe. and look at the talent that surges out in such a short period of time. you guys across the pond sort of a head start.anyway, pokers a very individual game. and theres such a varied amount of people playing from each country that its hard to draw a conclusion as to which nationality is best.plus the english are clearly the best.
