It did not enter my mind until the hand was over - it's just second guessing.Without giving away the result (yet), I had not been at the table long, but the button seemed tight-weak. When he raised the river my gut told me I was beat but the odds were telling me that to lay it down would be stupid. I have to agree with this take here. Unless you really connect on the flop playing this hand out of position sucks. Even worse you could catch a piece of it and not be able to get away. In the long run I am not sure playing this hand is going to be profitable for you in the long run - even with the discount on the call.

I have this set, and it's pretty good. The hold'em dvd is not great, but the other one, and the audio cd are good.

I played at the Winstar this weelend for the first time, and I have to say I enjoyed it. 2 hours is a good drive, and the gas prices might suck, but there is some easy money up there. They even spread a good variety of limits. Next time I'm up that way I'll be playing there again.
