I recently was playing an online game in which one of the players disabled the chat option because of the excessive amount of banter that was happening. Well, one of the players started to tell everyone what he had pre-flop whenever he would have hit a good hand and the one player was left out. And it seemed as though people were using this to their advantage especially when a flop came something like A44 and the other player would say "I threw away my 10-4". I would guess it really depends on the person and how well they can control themselves. I recently played a game of 1 / 2 NL where the gentleman next to me bluffed me out of a pot with an AQ high. After that the next big pot I was involved in with him he reacted the same exact way as the bluff (head down at chips, foot tapping, hands over his cards) so I figured he tried to pull a fast one on me again. Turns out he had quads. Guess you can't always rely on the physical tells.

I would just like to ask what defines a bad beat? I mean, for instance, let's say your playing 5/10 Limit Holdem in a shorthanded game. You raise with pocket 7's and only the BB calls. Flop comes 6-3-2, turn 2, river 8. Meanwhile the BB has check / called the entire way and when the cards are turned up you see that he called all of that with a Q8 offsuit. Is that a bad beat? Cause I hate it when that happens!!!
