The guy who came in second at the WPT event here in Reno wanted his entire payout in cash. It was $529,300. We gave it to him. Surprisingly, he wasn't jumped while he was in the parking lot.

Now I just hope that my boss will give me more time off so I can actually go down and play the super. If he doesn't, I'll have to see if I can't get some kind of credit with UB for the seat.

I just took 5th in the TOC freeroll on UB. Got me $1000 and a seat into the supersatelite for the WPT championship in a couple weeks. Makes taking this day off from work worth it.

Nowhere in the title of the forum does it say I have to be the receipient of the bad beat to post it.

It's down to heads up action in a 200+15 6 handed sit-n-go, I have a two to one chip advantage on my opponent.I had a pretty good handle on his betting patterns, so I was telling myself don't do anything stupid. Just grind him out. He raised and I called with K4 . The flop come T 6 2 . He bet out about 2/3 of the pot. If he didn't pot it, he was unsure of his hand. So I reraised him all in. He called with KT. Turn 3, river 5, and hello sit-n-go victory.

I'll be there, helping run things over on the live side. And while I love the business the WPT brings in, I'll be glad when it's over. This month is just so hectic. I don't know how the tourney dealers do this on a consistent basis.

H0 Should have been busted on the first round. I flopped a set of Queens against his pocket aces. Turn was a Queen and killed my action.

It's going to be tough. P0ker H0 and MindSpank have a huge amount of chips, and I've been extremely card dead since we got here.

Just got really lucky. Raised with 66, got reraised, I call. Flop comes A J 4, he checks, I push, he mucks QQ.3rd in chips with 6 left.

Our buyins will be mostly in the 200 to 300 range. Buyins will go up as we get closer to the main event. The preliminary tourneys should be well populated as well.
