  1. Well it was bound to happen sooner or later, Peter Forsberg has left Colorado and moved to Philly. I guess I will have a new second team to cheer for now. L.A Kings has always been my team since I was little, the great number 99 was the reason I picked that team.I hope all the "swedish" teams do well this year, including Toronto and Ottawa. So what team will win this year?
  2. So with all this information presented to me here I can only draw one conclusion. Start by playing 1 table, then instead of going up in limits when you reach 1500 big blinds for the next level you just add another table beacuse the reason you move up in limit is beacuse you want to make more money. But you dont have to move up in limit to make more money, just increase to number of tables to lets say 4 max more you cant handle. And then when you make the maximun ammount of cash you can on this specific limit then perhaps you sould move up in limit and start all over again with 1 table and buil
  3. I must say tank you ajs1281 that where alot of good advice and I really like what I read. I have another question now and I might just keep spinning in this thread instead of making a new one.Earlier we talked about the demands for "bankroll" ( woho I got it right this time) Now I wonder is this 1500 big blinds and 300 big bets for 1 table or for 1-x number of tables.Lets say I play 0.5 1 No limit holdem 1 table and then I should have 1500$ in bankroll. Now lets say I play 4 tables 0.5 1 and I make 3 times as much money as I was playing only 1 table. The earnings per 100 hands decrease relat
  4. I whould just like to say thank you to the people who took this tread serious and not just bad mouth about it. No one is perfect not in poker and not in life. But learning to get better is equally true in poker as in life.So it seems like the guideline here is 1500 big blinds, I actually knew the difference between no limit terms and limit terms. But you can never be to clear about such things, always better to explain in a proper way so that all may understand then assume that everybode knows what you are talking about.Perhaps it's just our swedish mentality telling us better to be safe then
  5. Again... I will post this one more time. LAST WEEK not overall
  6. Like I said English is my second language, is it Bankrol?
  7. I posted the last reply before I had the chance to read your reply. No you are correct the 70% I stated was just for the latest week where I have been hitting a pretty good run but not been able to make it all the way.
  8. By loosing my bankrool I dont mean I loose everyting I have ever made on poker. I have made about 10,000$ total in earnings. The times I have lost my bankrool it when I have had a couple of weeks with bad luck and really beats. You know the regular AA -vs- JJ all in preflop, when you loose 9 out of 10 times with thoose kind of hand there just aint much you can do. Looking at a bigger picture offcourse I have won alot more then I have lost with AA. I may have formulated my topic somewhat bad. I will now refer to someting I read written by the auother Mike Caro.It was something like this: Most
  9. Hello everybody, I whould like to ask a question. How many times if any have you lost your entire bankrool? I have lost my bankrool 4 times in the last 2 years. I have not had so much mostly 4,000$ but it still hurts for a student. Now I am starting to get back on my fett and have 1,500€ in my bankrool. I play mostly No limit online and some multis as well.I play shorthanded tables 0.25 / 0.5 and sometimes I make a shoot at 0.5 /1 if I had a good day behind me.The general guideline that has been presented to me via swedish pokerforums is that you should have somewhat about 3,000 times the big b
  10. 1. How did you come to play at the site you are currently playing on ?2. Why do you remain in this site ? What are the 3 most important factors for this.3. What do you miss on your site that you know other clients provide? And at the end, what is the most important factor for you when you deside witch site you will play on?If there is some grammar errors I am sorry, I am from sweden so english is just my second language.
  11. Hello, this will be my second query on this forum. I mostly ask question in the biggest swedish forum online but this one I wanted so share here as well.I play mostly no limit holdem online. But for the past few weeks I have started to play fixed again. It has gone really well for me but I have one question. There is a player who is a complete maniac and he plays so bad my mother whould have beaten him. The problem is that when he goes up in limit I am not sure I can follow him beacuse of the increasing fluctuations in my bankrool. I can stand to play him at 3/6 but when he moves to 5/10 it st
  12. It is interesting to read how people think in this situation. The explanation that took my bankrool in to consideration was extra interesting for me to read since this is somewhat how I think. Now I took a gamble hoping to boost my bankrool instead of building is slow.I have a tendency to about 70% af the time making it at the top twenty it really does not matter if we are 1000 players or 200 in the tournament when it comes down to 2 tables I usally go out on a hand like AK AQ -vs- QQ JJ and so on.And it is true that you have to win coinflip situation, perhaps you want them to be against peop
  13. Hello, my name is Andreas and I have been reading the pokerblog for sometime now. Im from sweden by the way so my english might not be 100%correct all the time but I think you will understand what I am trying to tell you guys. This morning I ( about 2-3 AM for you ) played in a 5,000$ tournament at the Prima Poker network. We were down to the last 21 players and the money started at top 10, the final table. The price structure was 1:th 1,800$ 2:th 1,100$ 3:th 700 and the 10th place 85$ with a buyin of 20+2$.I was currently in 6th place with 17,000 in chips with the blinds at 500/1000 and I pi
