  1. I will end this forum the same way I ended it at Cardplyr. Your comment about the Jen H. hand not being a good example may be true. I was not at the 05 WSOP, so when I seen the pouting JenH on TV it just reminded me of my experience. As far as my incident at the Bellagio, I will not debate the validity of it, and the reason I kept the name of the plyr out of it is the same reason I never discussed it last year when I got home. After the hand, I actually reacted even more poorly than the pouting player and was taken aside by the Mgr and warned that I would be suspended from play if I did not l
  2. I am simply stating that because I am around these pros more than the norm(I attend 3-4 majors a year) I see how they berate the non pros. Most of you have never sat at the same table as the pros, all you do is see them on TV and your all so star struck they cant do wrong... This is a legitimate topic since poker is a game where anyone can buy in and play these tournies, non pros deserve the same respect as pros. So, to you who say this is a bad post, P H U @ OFF ... dont waste my time with worthless comments then!!
  3. My last trip to Vegas I had a bad experience with a well known pro(name I will not say). It was one of the early events a week before the Bellaggio 5 Diamand Event. I called a re raise all in w/ AQs vs his KK and outflopped him. He berated me as well as commented on the "mine feilds" of todays tournies. When he kept on, I told him I would show him a mine field if he didnt shut his trap!!.. he walked away pouting... Jennifer Harman really dissappointed me by her reaction to her opponents apparent slow role which may have been incidental. Then he tried to apologize and she cut him off w/ a priss
  4. Any other comments on what your favorite sites to play and why? Cmon folks, 10 people voted in this poll so far, I was hoping for 500-1000 to vote so I could get a good feel where people really trust their money...
  5. whats pso? how do I sign up through it to Absolute?
  6. The following post was found at pokerpages.com forum advanced discussion.Has anyone else experienced similar ? Has anyone here played and collected money from this site with no problems?
  7. The only game available where I live is on the weekends 5/10 & 10/20, I usually play 5/10 about 10-15hrs per/week live action. online is where i play closer to my bankroll at .50/1.00$ But as I said it is difficult to build the type of bankroll just playing poker at the limits I play. This leaves me w/ options of playing over my head risking ruin to get to where I want or setting aside a savings plan from my earned income to get to where I want. My goal is to build a 20,000 - 30,000 BR and go west and try to build up to the big time tourney scene. Maybe I am not realistic, but how do 22 y
  8. I am a low/mid limit player. I play about 15-20 week live, as there are no casinos where I live, nearest would be 3hrs 1 way. I started about 2 yrs ago w/ a $250.00 online bankroll, re-loaded twice at $200.00 each time when I realized I was playing over my head and playing too much. My online bankroll is now near $1250.00, I play about 40hrs per week online $5 MTT's/ SNG's and .25 / .50 limit poker. My live cash game bankroll which I started playing with 2 yrs ago of $2,000.00 has fluctuated many times as I went bust twice but overall I am up about $1,500.00 The point I am getting at is, when
  9. poker will most likely go through some natural changes in popularity but as far as the overall game and in casinos its here to stay. Average Joe weekend gambler or even yearly vacationer to Vegas will now sit occasionally at a poker table as he does a slot machine or blackjack table etc... He/she will also try the cheaper buy in tournies for a shot at winning or competing like the pros on TV. However, the "super boom" poker now enjoys will eventually recide back down some naturally, but to a level that was higher than before. It's like Golf & sex, you dont even have to be good at it to enj
  10. It was pretty sloppy, also, Lasandro calls w/ 4's full of tens like he shouldve Ivey finishes 10th !One thing we as students of the game must realize, These pros certainly do play differently than one another. There is a lot of "play by the seat of his pants" or "feel" Play by Ivey. Also a lot of gamble in Phil. I think its gets him big stacks and many money finishes but when he gets to final tables players generally play more solid than him and take turns biting chunks from that stack w/ solid +EV hands. But who am I to question his play? Ive never even played in a major...loljust callem as I
  11. If the 4 all in opponents ahead of you had AA,AK,QQ &KK the worst possible situation your KJs would be a 6-1 dog NOT 7-1 !!!!! (AA= 62.9 % to win / KJs= 10.2% to win) How you gonna keep defending yourself with your broken calculator??? you cant even estimate odds correctly!!! LOL *Then you keep saying that +EV is enough reason to call off all your chips w/ KJ at the start of a tourney when you still have 44+ big bets left! Your a trolling , broken calculator, relentless fooool!*AND THIS FOOL WANTS TO KEEP DEFENDING DAN"S H"S PLAY BY RECITING MATH AND POT ODDS???Once again Beavis you are a
  12. He made the call from an ISOLATED READ you Baboon Brain!!!+EV would not be a justifiable call for all your chips w/ KJ and still have folding equity of 44 big bets! You Beavis are a freakin MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Hey guys, check out pokerpages.com forum / advanced, they started a whole new thread just to insult Beavis! lol lol You just wont give up will you! We allready proved that your calculator is broke including the one in your brain(if you have on??). I told you that plyrs on the net are well versed in poker theory, pot odds, variance etc.. you start talking you nonsense and youlll get sniffed out.*time to get a new handle and start trolling w/ a new ID lol lol lol lol
  14. *Beavis, I just spent 1-1/2 hours talking this hand over with a friend of mine and local poker legend of whom I trust and would put up my life's savings to bankroll in a heartbeat:*First, I do not apologize for debating, but I dont like name calling or any other methods I used. What we have here is what my friend coined as common when players are learning: What you are doing is like a quack preacher taking one verse out of the bible and making a doctrine out of it. This hand in no way should be used to set the example of the "proper" play. Once again, Even the math does not validate the call
  15. *I have read the book, thats why I got into the debate because in Beavis original threads he was preaching that the math was correct here when Dan H was really explaining about reads in a NL tourney! I only said that I would fold and that w/ 40+ BB left he would have plenty of folding equity rather than a possible bad EV+ situation.*I was explaining that this was an isolated play that is normally a fold mathematically!!!!!!!!! He kept insisting this should be the norm to call here.*I know Im right so Im done debating it, BTW, I pray to God above that you Beavis are at my table next time Im in
