Playing one of my weekly cash games. Blinds are .5-$1 and its gotten very late and to 6 handed. Over the past few orbits i've seemed very aggresive and people think I am buying pots. A lot of guys going, "oh keep that up , I can't wait to get cards against you." So with roughly $95 in front of me I find myself on the button with KK.Under the gun($18.50) calls the BB.Fold to my button, I make it $4 all day.Small blind calls($140). Big blind folds. Under the gun calls.Flop: 4d Qc 5dSB bets out $4.Under the gun goes all in for 14.50.I call, SB goes all-in which puts me all in and I call.SB flips

Not only is it a valid thing to say to someone.It gets to them. And isn't that half of poker? You guys can play by every number you come up with and speak perfect english. But if someone can get under your skin and keep the presensce of mind to realize you are now upset with them, well then you might find yourself in a lot of trouble.Any move like, I put you all in or how many chips do you have....its all posturing and it usually works on your average players.

So I took a lot of the forum junkies advice and read Harrington on Holdem and saw a drastic improvment in my tournament results. So now I am currently taking more advice and reading SSHE because I was very interested in getting a good handle on limit games. I am not totally done wiht it but am playing very low limit games while I read and implementing the new thigns the book covers. However, while following the Loose Game starting hand criteria I find my flops seen % has risen to over 30%. Is this normal with their theory on playing such loose players or am I possibly doing something wrong? Or

On monday they are sending me a password so I can remote connect to our desktops that are off the trading floor and i'll be able to play poker around 6 extra hours a day now at work.... thank god for lazy jobs.

Well my buddy who lives in what used to be a ice factory ( ie some open space) is going to have a poker tourney the sunday before labor day. You are definetly welcome to come. We'd like to get a good size game going.We're a younger crowd, 20-26 or decent amount of serious people about poker. Pretty relaxed and cool. Lookin to get a decent showing. It would be in the city , near grand and ashland.$30 buy in, probably get around 20...possibly a lot more if the date is good for all our friends.
