  1. I see you all the time at the short tables...DLizzle. Anyways, I decided to join the booya tunica tourney instead of this one.
ya i recognize the name, I took a break from those tables, was getting hammered, but watch out for me, im coming back with a revamped style. Also, watch out for BLMPKIN in the 30k, friend of mine that is under my watchful eye. I have 90% of him in this.
  2. don't worry, I had a chip lead with 7 left yesterday after a full tournament of playing well and focused which I recently promised myself I would try to do all the time. Then I proceeded to make slightly stupid play taking me out of the chip lead another incredibly stupid play right after putting me out in 7th. Difference in prize money between 1st and 7th, over 400 dollars. I'm actually pleased it wasn't that big, but I can guarantee I felt worse than you do afterwards. I only wish I could say I took a ridiculous run of bad beats.

  3. so one time im at this 50/1 nl table, up around 400. A friend of mine asks me for some money on the site in the chatbox. I say something like ya sure. Suddenly, people are coming to me all the time asking for money. An observer will come in that I dont know and specifically ask me for money. I ask one why me and he says he heard I lent money. Who are these people?

  4. so im in this mtt as we speak, doing well still, I get aces, my connection freezes for about a minute, just long enough for me to time out with two aces. on tilt now. rail me if you'd like though or in a bit, 25 left im 4th in chips. FT 20+2, DLizzle.

  5. haven't read any of the posts after the original since I despise religious discussion. Just wanted to say to the OP that Daniel merely said reading the bible made him feel better, and feeling better helps win tournaments. I'm not sure of his religious conceptions and neither are you so we can't judge him past that. Doesn't work for me, but it does for him obviously. Also, to your post in general which was teeming with anger from a life filled with pointless debates with religious people who have frustrated and never once agreed with you in the end, stop doing it. They have an answer for everything. If all else fails, they can just say that god doesn't have to follow logic. Checkmate. what can you say.

  6. When I first began playing, I started playing all the games equally, except for 2-7 triple draw, which I learned later, and other uncommon games. My favourites grew to be Holdem in all forms, Pot limit Omaha hi, and omaha hi/lo on occasion. I do not like stud at all. I find the range of games is good when you get bored with one game or go on tilt.

  7. I actually find live limit games tougher than nl. I've played at two casinos, Fallsview and Casino Niagara, 1/2 nl, 5/5 nl, 3/6 limit and 6/12 limit. The limit games were pretty tight at times, always a couple really bad players though, while the nl games were always good. My advice would be to survey the players at the table. If you see the limit games full of middle age guys and the nl games full of mostly young guys with a wide array of people mixed in, which is what I see, play NL.

  8. I really hate going with strict, mathematical bankroll management. If I found a weak game out of my bankroll, unless it was the whole thing or something, I'd play for sure. Especially if you are playing really low limits right now, I'd step up for sure. In my opinion, grinding it out at 25-50 wouldn't be worth the time or effort because the money is going to mean very little even if I dominate the game. If I go broke on a 1000 dollar bankroll, oh well, I would hope that in future jobs I could make that easily. Give yourself a shot to make some money and increase your experience playing out of bankroll. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you are a scared money player. Personally, I play a lot more focused in higher limits than I'm used to and really put in a good effort, while avoiding scared money play. In my opinion a very signifigant part of being a successful player is having a disregard for money. Not like you don't care about it, just that if you lose it you won't lose it, you know what I mean. I might have more than answered your question, felt like saying it I guess.

  9. I usually just play what I feel like playing, Limit Holdem from 2/4 to 5/10, NL Holdem, 25/50 to 1/2, and PLO from 25/50 to 1/2, and tourneys. I feel like since there are so many games available at any time I should use some real game selection. How do you find the most profitable games?
