  2. i've seen like 5 royal flushes in the past year....but i play at party. the amazing thing was when i took a buddy to his first casino, playing 5/10LHE, and the kid hit royal on the flop. he got a bit of action, not as much as he should have (played it wrong). the best part about this is when he turns it over, doesn't say a word, doesn't smile or anything...just rakes his chips in.
  3. hey guys 2 things: first thing, when i raise all in with 40 bucks into a 35 cent pot, and people comment about what an idiot you are... i like to tell them "pocket deuces...favourite hand" don't know if that helps get future calls or not. 2nd thing: i totally couldn't follow this strategy to a "t". i played all my suited connectors, and mostly AK hands, however folded all hands like KQ, QJ unsuited that i normally like to play. suited connectors i would only call min bet, or min raise though, never 3X BB... and i ended up making about 83 bucks from about 400 hands. (this is on 25NL with
  4. i have come home drunk many times, and turned on the computer thinking hmmm pokerssssss a great idea! believe it or not ( i don't have records to prove this) but i actually think i play better when i'm drunk...maybe it's the concentration factor?
  5. no offense taken, but why? it seems like the correct x could be a huge moneymaking game for a casino, since the WPT/WSOP casual watcher would be like "holy shit, how can i lose, aces are the best hand and deuces are horrid!"true but how many people would sit there and continuously play a game where they get aces vs. 2's everytime. they already know the casino's going to win in the long run, plus there's no skill at all in the game...at least in games like blackjack and pai gow and spanish, there's a certain degree of skill...i realize that games like slots and bacarat and war don't have much
  6. i don't mean to offend you pupsta....but this thread is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine
  7. i told a girl i had a 10 inch love stick. she called my bluff. i didn't show.
  8. No, it was brilliant to check your top two pair to let everyone with a drawing hand pass you by. Maybe you should have open folded with your money already in the pot. I can just see it now, your evil hero smash hovering above rubbing his hands together in an evil way trying to see how many followers he'll get aboard. A lab experiment if you will. You all are his hamsters spinning the wheel. Why am I the only one who sees this? I can't be the only cynic on this board.the plan was to check raise with 7 limpers
  9. ouch tough beats...congrats on a good tourney though
  10. well done, win one for FCP...oh how i long to be at a final table again, only made 2 in the past 3 years (maybe i should stick to the sit n goes eh?)
  11. here is an example hand i have no idea how to play under this system. i'm BB with 10/9o...flop comes 10 9 5 (2 spades) so i check all 7 other limpers check...turn comes 3 no help to flush or straight, i come out betting, guy raises me with pocket 3's (me not knowing, call because i think i'm huge favourite. am i supposed to fold when i think i have such a huge advantage???and yes i'm a sheep
  12. i've only been trying this method for about 15 minutes, and i am having little difficulty folding the AKo but i can't seem to convince myself to fold my sooooted connectors! still...70 hands in 2 tabling the NL25 tables on party and up a buyin already
  13. hey sorry if i missed it...how do you play after the flop if you limped with AKs and flop comes rainbow AK7... you still supposed to fold in this system?
  14. depending on the site you can add this fish to your buddy list and search for him everytime you log on
  15. econ tim i think this is horse poop...you don't actually expect us to believe that you can predict the flops....absolutely ridiculous! burn in heck you bugger(sw)
  16. i was told in one of my recent threads to do this before the tourney starts... not sure if my gun would be reloaded yet or not by first break. will keep posted Nothing wrong with firing a few blanks if she isn't reloaded yet. No need to keep us posted though. :?just made it to 2nd break....hmm what to do, bathroom, drink or choke the chicken? think i'll get a beverage
  17. quotes amazon: "customers who have bought this book have also bought 'The Tetherballs of Bougainville: a Novel'"
  18. i was told in one of my recent threads to do this before the tourney starts... not sure if my gun would be reloaded yet or not by first break. will keep posted

  20. OMG!! i remember that code!!jesus remember Battle Toads!!!!!! that was awesome Yeah Battle Toads was WAY ahead of it's time... although I remember always getting stuck in the boards with the vehicles you had to drive... so tough. Such a great game... I think I may have to buy the next Nintendo system which I heard was going to have entire libraries of games for NES, SNES, N64, etc...BATTLE TOADS WAS THE BEST GAME EVER...EVEN BETTER THAN DONKEY KONG!
  21. the best thing about the power pad was when you were too lazy to actually run on it you could kneel down and hit it with your fists and go even faster
