Hey everyoneFor all those in the Bay Area, where do you prefer to play? I have only played at the Oaks. I know there is Lucky Chances, Bay 101, and San Pablo. Anyone have any preferences?

I have heard that it will be at the RIO again next year, with a possible Ceasars move in '07. Also, the final day next year will probably not be at the Horshoe, but will be moved to the RIO.

Magriel (X22 or Quack Quack) set up some computer backgammon program with players named X1 through X99. X22 was the eventual winner, that's why they call him X22. Talk about a weird dude.

Last week's episode was crazy.Jeff Lisandro took out Phil Ivey heads up, after Ivey had pretty much all the chips on the table. Plus, Lisandro started as chip leader, then was down to nothing at the start.I think Ivey must have been ready to go to sleep or something. Lisandro can play.

There are definately more bad beats on Pokerstars and ParadisePoker.That can be attributed to the LARGE amounts of Dead Money on both sites. Less bad beats on Ultimate Bet and Full Tilt.

I think you have to get through more than 5,000. There's usually at least a 1000 in the freerolls, and there's already like 3,000 registered for the actual tournament. Pretty cool though

I recently switched from Limit Hold Em to No Limit and agree that No Limit is the better game--it takes more skill and is the ultimate skill tester.One thing that I haven't seen mentioned here--Once you have switched over to No Limit from Limit, try switching back to Limit for awhile. I think you will find your Limit game MUCH improved. Playing No Limit makes you a better Limit player.With that said, both games are so much fun...

I thought Norman Chad's comments on Bellande were on the mark--at first he was pretty annoying, but then I found it pretty amusing. "Nice lay down boys"Also calling Jean Paul Bellande "Bobby" was hilarious.Overall though, Norman Chad is pretty weak.

I think pokerstars.com has the most action. This doesn't necessarily mean its the best action, but there is a lot of it. 8)
