After speaking with Daniel, he proposed that in the case of a cancelled game the teams that picked from that game will choose two games the next week.

I've emailed that team and asked for a "secondary pick" just in case the game isn't played. If it is cancelled, then his secondary pick will be taken. I think that pushing is better online than it is live. Online, nobody knows you're Daniel Negreanu. Odds of the play working is better online imo. I would have an easier time calling if I could look accross the table and know I was up against a tricky player like DN.

Not Wrong.He's up $198,012 so far this year in tournaments. The money's not going to break him.Other players play a similiar strategy(though probably not to this degree, I admit). Wasn't it Phil Ivey that said he plays in a way to either build up chips quickly or bust? DN had somewhere else to be at the time. Even Sklansky talks about playing crazy(or not even playing) a tournament if the side games are so juicy that one would make more bank/hr busting in the tourney and sitting in the ring game.-Travis

bb was closing the action when it was 1 more bet from utg's 3bet. I was joking about thinking his play was standard on the flop. Probably a bad coldcall(only big mistake the entire hand imo). Folding preflop probably is better, but calling isn't horrible. Calling 2 cold is bad, but you can't fold for 1 more when the pot is 21 small bets and you have to call 1 more. You definatly win the pot 1 out of 21 times, right? On the turn getting 13-1, do you win 7.6% of the time? The more I think about it, the play wasn't so bad. BB wins 9.2% on the turn with 5live outs.
