I'd just recommend playing the $25 max buyin NL 6 max games at party. The buyin is for .25/.5 normally it's $50 but party has half max buyins so if you lose a buyin you're not losing a fortune. I think a fine guideline is to have 7x-10x the buyin (of standard maximum buyins) so $500 for the $25 at party. That said back when I played those stakes I was only on $200 but even then I was an educated player.I play NL, PL and limit, mostly the former two. Yes, there are swings, but there are swings in fixed too so, as long as you're within bankroll guidelines and of sound mind you should learn how to

After playing for more than a couple of hours on any site you get used to it.Like I said, software isn't the most important thing. Players and game selection is. There are always juicy games at party. As long as the software runs fast enough, which it does.

I think pretty much every episode of anything poker related which has been aired on tv has set foot on my hdd.Had both wpt seasons 1 and 2 etc. The problem is that well, it's piracy, yello!I'm in Ireland so I'm sort of in a safe zone here. Of course I've never actually had any of these videos on my pc hee..hee.I'm sure glad I DIDNT download Phil Hellmuths MIllion dollar online poker secrets seeing as when I didnt watch I realized how absolutely 0 million dollar it was! I returned this copy to the recycle bin.As for downloading music there are a number of ways to safeguard yourself and as hars

If you're going textbook style partypoker is definitely the place you want to be. The games are loose and are known to have some of the worst players online. You'll be beating the fixed games if you stick to the standard game plan. Beware of the bad beats though, they will come more frequently at party, just don't get discouraged. One thing which can be fun is to spot how badly everyone plays. Realizing more and more mistakes of others is a way of realizing your own improvements. Even if NL isn't your thing there are still some relatively cheap NL tables there. There's .25/.5 NL maximum buyin

I use pokertracker although the only real purpose i'm using it for right now is to track how much I'm paying in rake.Wow you sure do know how to pick the wrong sites ! :)Fulltiltpoker was full of crazy tight and good players trying to grind off the 100% 600 match bonus. UB isn't exactly known for soft games either.Party doesn't have .25/.50 fixed im afraid. .5/1 fixed is as low as it goes. With a $300 bankroll you should manage that though (with the 20% deposit bonus you've got just that)If you're a complete beginner I suggest just joining pokerschoolonline and playing the play money tables the

Party sites are definitely the best places. Stay away from pokerstars. Bodog has some loose games as well.I can't recommend UB at all. Yes, software is great but so what, suckers is what you want, not super software. If you're offended by a certain colour then it's possible to edit all the graphics on most sites anyway (yee girly girl u).. Ok, if you play high enough limits, say 30/60 you've got to go to these places anyway (ub, stars). If you can handle it and only play 1 table at a time (of course you can play at a different site simultaneously) play at pacific. Beware of playing below 3/6 t

I have accounts on 5 different party skins, all with different names.^ above statement is fictional if you're party staff.I've settled down on one of them now thanks to rakeback. This was mainly the cause from back when I was on a laughable bankroll and used bonuses to boost it.But yeah, it's full of suckers. Tend to have better players on the 2-4 NL/PL however (in relevance to the other limits and games at the site).

Never heard of it which means that you should probably not bother (im a whore to poker sites)Just stick to major ones, except pokerstars, house of the devil's poker minions unless you're looking for big prize tournaments.Party skins or bodog! Pokerchamps gain points for being "chic"

I'd sit on it for about 2 minutes then I'd fold.

the same pretty much applies for all levels, unless you're on the lower stakes you should really just take a shot with your bankroll

Sometimes you might note patterns of speed. Generally you should not read into the betting speed or whether someone ticked the raise any button too much. Personally, if I'm in a FL game and am waiting for my turn to bluff / semi-bluff I hit the bet button so fast it looks like I ticked the box (just as I do when I actually have a hand as decisions are quickly made in FL 3/6 etc). Hellmuth as an example, says that when someone raises/bets immediately they're usually strong! Well then I'm always strong when I bet then, hooray! There are people who do read into this, mostly beginners who are tryin

The simple answer is yes.People make in excess of 30k a month playing full time. It's a difficult road to become a successful player though. Setting a money goal per day / month is not a great idea however. As Daniel said once, (if you're good enough) play the hours and the money will come (in varied amounts! )Some days are good some are bad. Personally, if I hit pots which takes me above $500 for the day (to think that I started off on a free $10 signup bonus) I quit, go and read a poker book or do something away from poker :)That's the good thing about online poker, you can hit n run and d

I don't have anything to do with bodog so this is just a review from a player perspective, no advertisement.Anyway, I made a deposit there. The software is nice. Sleek fast and also lets you upload an avatar image which is an extra little bonus. The deposit bonus is 10% up to 100 this however is bottomless reloadable. There's a point system which lets you accumulate points to use to enter tournaments. They say that you need to get 6 points per dollar in bonus to release it. I'm not sure how you get the points I assume it's based on raked hands but I've only been there for a day and I have abou
