I guess I could just hijack this thread. 22 left, average 55k, I am at 65k. 1st is 14k.
-
Was still short stacked, blinds 3000-6000, I had 46k. Picked up AK in early pushed in, small blind had K's. GL Hussler. Hopefully I have a final table post coming up. Deep in the 2k added that started at 12 eastern and the 30 rebuy that started at 12:10.
-
The last one I had Aces. Hoped they had tired of my move.
-
Table 2. I hate when 2 tournies are getting deep at the same time. About to hit the money in the 2k added as well with a big stack.
-
Have a few chips now, 39,183. Another double would be nice.
-
Just made the money with 19k, need a double now.
-
Was as high as about 13k, back down to 6407 at 2nd break.
-
HELL YES!!!! I bet the over and I don't see an "I'm out" post so color me a winner. Seriously, and I thought I had the winner. Drew Bledsoe is that you? Just giving my money away.5060 at the break. Always a roller coaster in the big ones lately.

I'm in. GL.

30+3 Rebuy 35k on Party for me. Almost guaranteed a big stack to play my game. Just wish I could play it during the week too.
-
Yeah, I usually play them as often as possible, both the rebuy and the 109 buy in. Unfortunately, I live on the West Coast so they start too early during the week for me. I play one similar to the rebuy that starts a little later in the night. The 35k rebuy is my favorite tourney out there. Very, very rarely do I not cash (PP rebuys make it almost impossible if you know how to play rebuys) and I have made quite a few final tables.
-
GL man. Traveling for work, got back to the room too late. You get deep I will come rail.

Wow. Been a while since I have blown up. Got up to about 12k, continued to pick up great starting hands but couldn't get people off their drawing hands and lost some big pots when they hit their draw. Last hand, picked up Q's in early, raised it up, BB came over the top for a huge raise, had to either push or fold. Figured he had AK, or J's, he turned up Aces and I am out. GL all.

I'm in. Won a pretty big hand early when I hit trip Q's.
-
I am. Currently a little below average with 225 left.

Really? I have seen that guy deep in A LOT of big tourney's lately. Seriously. I think I have only been at a table with him once and I don't remember his play. Not saying he isn't a donkey but I am surprised.
-
Rebuy tourney's are not for everyone. Do not, I repeat, do not, go into a rebuy tourney expecting to play "real poker" in the first hour. Almost every tourney I get scolded by some Jo Schmo who has no idea how to play a rebuy at it's optimal level. Always gives me a chuckle as I know he will be pushing it to make the money as I play for the final table. Basically I play a lot of pots, hoping to hit a monster and push. Funny how often you get called even after showing down hands. It works great on Party's rebuys where you can rebuy in the middle of a hand. Another thing that I think gets

And I am out. Relatively short stacked. Raise comes from cutoff, I move all in from the button with AdKd. He calls a big raise with deuces. Nothing hits. GL to anyone left.
-
Yeah, especially at this table where I thought the play was weak, I wanted to see some cheap flops. Guessing maybe it was the 2nd part that he was referring to me not raising since blinds were pretty big at this point. I just hate building big pots without huge hands. I was already pounding the blinds and I knew I was going to start facing big re-raises as they got tired of me stealing. Usually when I feel this happening I actually increase my starting requirements for a raise. Okay, at least I didn't miss some huge hard and fast rule like the poster made it sound. Different styles I gue

Okay, so I was being railed by a few FCP'ers at a final table last night. In the thread, one of the posters gave me a hard time about open limping in early position. Can't say I do it often but with mid pairs and if I have decent size stack, hands like QJs. After the tourney was over I wondered if I missed something at some point so I went back to Harrington's book. In volume 1 he gives advice to limp in early with several different holdings, including those listed above. I do remember in volume 2 him saying that if you have a big M, you may want to limp with face cards, hoping to flop a monst

Guess I have to take 3rd then. I think I would be okay with that. And I have BodogAri at my table. Played against him on Bodog before. He's tough, guess I better bring my A game.

I didn't see it either. Went away for a while, came back and saw a deal had been done. Just wondering if they did anything but chip stack. Unfortunately Party doesn't post what the deal was.
