Just lost 2/3 of my chips when some ****** raised it to 1900 with blinds at 300/600 and then called my re-raise to 4200 and hit a set of 3's. Down to 8400.Out. Got all my chips in preflop with K's against 10's. He hit a 10 on the turn. My, how the tide turns quickly. GL all.

19,500 at 2nd break. Tripled up 2 hands before break.

Grrrreat. I hope this doesn't mean that it is only on the weekends that these tournaments are not rebuys. Would make sense since they can get more entries then. Unfortunately, being on the West Coast, I can only get to these tourneys on the weekend. Guess we will see what they have set up for Saturday.

My guess is that they got pissed about all the complaints when they started charging a fee on the rebuy as well, causing them to have to stop charging it. This way they get fees on all buy ins that go into the pot. My guess is that at least in the 15K they will have quite a few overlays.

But they have a lot of rebuy tournies right? I guess that is the main thing I am looking for. I have seemed to have found a nice niche in these. I have accounts on Bodog and UB but play very few tournaments on there.

This is a great topic as for me, as it is one of the hardest things to deal with. There is a group of us that all started playing together about 4 years ago and for a long time we were all about the same skill level. About a year ago I started doing very well in tournaments on a regular basis. Almost every time I am at a FT of a tournament (assuming it is a decent payout), I text 3 of these guys so they can go rail if they choose. Anyone notice the 15K and 35K that used to be rebuys on Party are still the same buy in but without rebuys? I emailed to ask what the story was and they sent an email back saying it was a decision made by management. Man, this is killing the 2 best money makers I had. Talk about a bad beat. I just don't quite understand the thinking. In the 15K yesterday, they had like 2300 entries and there was still an overlay. Now, they have just made 2 more donkfests. Party has only a few rebuys now. Looks like I may have to open a Stars account.

3020 at break. Was pretty close to 5000 for most of the 1st hour then lost a couple big pots towards the end.

Playing at Commerce. I make a bad all in call on the nice guy next to me after the flop, suck out an inside straight on the turn. After the river card he shows me his set of Q's. I feel bad so without thinking I show him my straight and without flipping my cards up, toss them in the muck. Luckily the guy insisted I take the pot. I ended up giving him half cause I was such a tool.

Thank you very much. When he pushed so quickly after my bet when the Ace hit I was pretty sure he had K's or Q's. Thanks for the support. I love the rebuys.

Just got back from Vegas. Since you are staying at Bellagio, make sure you eat at Fix. Literally one of the top 5 dinners I have ever had. Absolutely amazing. Bill was about 250 for 4 of us but everything I had was wonderful. I recommend the Kobe steak.
