  1. 1. She didnt know anything about poker2. Her interviews were horrible3. Shes nowhere near as hott as Shana Hiatt4. She was in a tragic bus accident
    1. Because we need a hot chick to know a lot about poker. Just look hot and say 'so what happened out there?'2. See number 1.3. She is indeed very hot.4. She was in a tragic bus accident.I guess its #4! :club: PS. people who say that CF is not hot/pretty, infuriate me almost as much as people who insist Cameron Diaz is pretty.
  2. Hey Ive been using Smash strategy all along and didnt even know it! :club: I was always wondering what it was too, how funny? Though I do use a slight variation sometimes for shits n' giggles. At those times I dont call with Axs for even a min raise but I will limp or call a smallish raise with any two broadway cards. Its not as good but allows you to play more hands while still being profitable.

  3. I don't know if I like the video blog yet....It's just really weird, and it makes me pissed that I can't talk back to DN.
I think its an excellent idea. With the World Series going off Danny will have less time to sit and write and he'll probably have to write for his columns when he can. The video blog is just a couple minute run down that he can do much more often (hopefully) than sit and write a blog. The only strange thing is that we dont really need to see :club: him to hear about how he's doing, so I imagine we'll be watching him play golf in all these V. Blogs or do something else????
  4. It is definitely a conservative answer, no doubt...but I can attest to this situation getting me into trouble so many times. I dont particularly have a mathematical argument but I know the odds of flopping a set or better is 7.5 to 1. That said, I think you can make an argument that your 3 to 1 + implied odds might make it worth it, but again we're talking in the confines of a SnG. The times that you dont flop a set and either lose more chips, or even bust out, for other reasons, (i.e. unders-board to a big PP, unmade draws, etc.), reduce the number of times that you finish in the money too mush to make it +ev. And that should be your real goal if you're an SnG stud, while all of the other donks are trying to "win this one", if you're a fairly good SnG player, you know that your profit, overall, is made on the times you finish 2nd.Thoughts?

  5. Yep, I have explained it before in hockey section. I'm from NY/NJ area and a Devils fan. But I moved to Raleigh so i'm also with the local team now. I suppose I should give the canes a shoutout on the avatar as well but I don't want to block the chicks any further :D
Dont block the chicks any further!! They're pretty much the only interesting part of your posts :club: Just kidding, you're my favorite.
  6. I use a dried up, crusty, brown toe nail that fell off of my big toe about 8 months ago. People always ask what it is and get absolutely repulsed when I tell them. I've broken up tables because everyone leaves to wash up!! One cardroom manager threatened to kick me out if I didnt stop using it, after a player complained.

  7. This happened to me last night! I was getting short, late in a MTT SuperSat and some goof limped early with QQ and I jammed with 99. It sucks but it shouldnt work on you in too many instances. Those being:1) You are short stacked.2) You are big stacked with a premium hand, and then you wont be in too much danger.3) You hold a monster. 4) Youre a bad player.I have Limp/raised occassionally vs. players I know I can stack that way but only with AA in the right temperature water.BigDMcGee:I think though that he is talking specifically about limp/calling. Not limp/raising, which I agree can be a very effective tool. Secondly, I give a F*** about the blinds late in MTT on the bubble as I suspect most do.

  8. Anyone playing in this? Im planning on playing the $500 on 7/5/06 and I'll see from there. They are/have opened a new room so Im very excited to check it out. The WPT event was run in a large convention space, and was very good. Hopefully this event will be good to.

  9. Ya I agree its soo annoying to be alerted of my action. I like clicking back to and watching my Aces go into the muck because i was to busy watching the new Paris Hilton video, while rubbing my man "tits."
Thats not what he means ya KooK. He's saying that after the table is 'forced to front' you MUST act on it, or at least click it, before going to other action. I too find this extremely annoying. On UB the table fronts, you know whats happening, but then you can click back to the table that you were pondering or whatever.
  10. there will be more than 500 players, and phil ivey will win.mark my words
I'll give you 10 to 1 that this doesnt come true. But if you want to go on the entrants alone, more than 500, I'll give you 3 to 1. Wanna go? :icon_cool:Whoever said that many pros will not play this is absolutely right. This is after all a tournament and aside from the richest of the big time pros, not very many are willing to put up 50K on a tourney. I spoke to a pretty popular one on UB and they said it was a 'huge ego fest' and not necessarily a great tournament. I, 50%, agree with that. Im still pretty excited about it though and really hope that they televise some of the actual HORSE play.
