  2. i agree, but i still think it sould be in there, she played it well...and the fact that she took down hellmuth should be noted, lol
It should also be noted that on that hands that were shown on TV, it looked like she got hit in the face with the deck and Hellmuth dodged the mines as best he could. That said, I don't want it to sound like I keep trying to discredit her. She is still a great player and has some amazing results, but how she acts just bugs me. :club:
  3. In her cardplayer results history, her 2 mil for the WSOP TOC in 2004 is not therejust wrong
It was an invite only freeroll, so that might be a reason. Whether she deserved to be invited over Harman is an entirely different story.
  4. Yeah that call blew my mind as well...This womans play reminds me of tiffany williamson lolHere is my fantasy final table that I would like to see on PPV in a few days.
And before anybody defends it and says it was a good call or read...no, it wasn't. If CP reported it correctly, she called off her chips as a dog in the hand. She has to put the raiser on exactly two unpaired, non drawing overcards to make it correct. And that doesn't even take into account the OOP call with 32o.
  5. Yes she did start from the bottom... her record is fine... her brother started her out with a few bucks and she worked her way up. Moron... get a life jerk
None the less, she is still embarassing to watch and at times acts as if people should bend over backwards accommodate her. Obviously that's just formed from DN's comments, tournament reports and television, as I don't claim to have ever played with her.
  6. ....theres more variance because when you bet, nobody folds. When you raise all in with AK, someone always calls with 22. When you bet an open ended straight flush draw, people will call all ins holding bottom pair, becuase they think you are bluffing. There are more pre flop, on the flop, turn, and river calls, and less folds. Which means there are more situations where a lot of chips are on the line, as where in a situation with better players, there wont be as many gambling situations. How is there not a lot of variance with playing bad players?
Sounds like someone never got past the sniffing butt stage...the variance should be lower against these players if you are at all capable enough to switch your game up to account for them. I guess you aren't.
  7. Who cares... he abuses dealers and players. Also, its called controlling your drinking when at the table. I was playing 30-60 at the B last summer and our table was right next to a 200-400 stud game. He was playing and the cocktail waitresses couldnt keep his beer full... he was so gone and so rude to everyone... and I didnt see him tip once.
The key word here is Minh, Men played day 1B.If it was a Harrah's screw up that placed him on the wrong day, then I would assume they would put him in on another day...not sure what they did with the chips that got blinded off, I guess they were kept in play.
  8. I've seen this be 88-JJ too many times to ever fold Kings there. Especially with that shallow of a stack. It seems a lot of people hate playing mid pairs post flop, so they limp and then once someone raises they immediately think they have overs and push to get into a coinflip.

  9. I looked this clown up on HendonMob, and somehow he took down a 1.5k tourny at the Bellagio this year for 200k. Tourny poker must really be a nitty crapshoot right now if this guy is not only getting deep into tournies, but taking them down.
